Demus is crazy

Bengala & Robin vs Cholo & Ramstein : basic opening match. Nothing much of interest. Bengala is good enough to a level above this, but you need guys like him to keep these matches from being poor.

Cacao

Astral, Fantasy, Pequeño Halcón vs Demus 3:16, Pequeño Nitro, Pierrothito : despite Pequeño Nitro being off on Mars multiple times during this match (wrong place, lots of the time), this was really good. Surprisingly so considering the iffy técnico side. It was very rudo dominated, but didn’t follow usual form – no beatdown, no comeback, no big dives, just the one at the end that was counted. Pierrothito is underrated as an athlete, and Demus seems like one of the most over luchadors in CMLL.

Fuego, Mr. Cacao, Pegasso vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Nitro, Skándalo : This is total build to a tag match in another promotion I probably will never see. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t feel like I really need to see the tag match. Cacao is different than the CMLL técnicos, but he’s more notable for getting Arkangel to do stuff than his own actions.

Warrior making sure this pin counts

Black Warrior, Sagrado, Sangre Azteca vs Morphosis, Shigeo Okumura, Vangelis : Black Warrior is NOT on the list of people allowed to lose trying leglocks. This was a match that happened and that’s OK.

this seems vaguely illegal

Atlantis, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Tiger : strong win for the challengers, to set them up as the challengers. Técnicos only got in the sneak first fall win and the run of offense in the third fall. This was not an exceptional match by itself but it did make me want to see next week’s match.
