Dalis la Caribeña, Estrellita, Lady Apache vs Amapola, Princesa Blanca, Princesa Sugheit: last week’s trios was better. Amapola now appears to be putting her feet on the ropes in a taunting move – she sure didn’t seem to kneed to do so this time.
Atlantis vs Último Guerrero: Every Ultimo Guerrero match with Atlantis’ spots. Big spot, pin, kickout, (long) rest, repeat with no relation with what just happened. There’s very little creativity, and none of the spots seem like the finish because these matches only end after someone tries one of their finishing moves. I think a few less false finishes here and a few more earlier might make the match more palatable, but I don’t think that’s actually going to happen. If they do the mask match this year, I expect it to be a big deal, but I’m not looking forward to seeing the match – I can’t imagine it being much more than the two we’ve already seen.
