Mask match was good, but wouldn’t be notable if it wasn’t someone the length of the Tapatios losing. Rush/Terrible might have been good in front of a vocal crowd.
Hombre Bala Jr. & Super Halcon Jr. vs Rayo Tapatío I & Rayo Tapatío II for the masks: the best possible preliminary match? It didn’t feel like a main event, it felt more like an a longer opening card match with some opening card finishes (they’ve even been doing these sorts of eliminations before the finish of late.) This was more meaningful than it was a good match.
Rush vs Terrible for the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship: Decent, maybe even a good match, diminished greatly by not having any sort of crowd reaction. They seemed to plan this all around Rush getting booed – because what is more reliable than that! – and the crowd just didn’t make much noise the entire way. It was an underwhelming result, though I’m not exactly sure what they should’ve done better.
