LyC’s official results list Jesse as Vasco Jr. HSM’s team represented Nuevo Laredo, and won via drink to Simbolo’s face.

Other News has a short clip with Volador Jr. and Volador Sr.. I think Volador Senior talked about retiring, but it was too quick to tell for sure. More to come, I’m sure.

Rob has footage of Hector Garza trying to steal Zacarais’ frying pan and paying the price. Someone must’ve finally confiscated it from Zach, because it hasn’t been around in months.

Traumas vs Oficials continue in the main event. Garza was asking for a Mexican national heavyweight title shot in the magazines, but since X-Fly’s surely not losing that belt

Minis are back from last week, with Super Bracito in place of Mascarita Aereo.

CMLL (MON) 01/16/2012 Arena Puebla

Tercera is a rematch from the Arkangel show last year – Tuareg beat Cancerberos that time

CMLL (TUE) 01/17/2012 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Javier Cruz Jr. vs Ángel del Mal
2) Hierro & Leo vs Magnum & Ráfaga
3) Astral, Bam Bam, Eléctrico vs Demus 3:16, Pequeño Violencia, Pierrothito
4) Titán & Triton vs Pólvora & Ráfaga
5) Atlantis, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. vs Morphosis, Psicosis, Volador Jr. [MEX TRIOS]

The rematch! I’m actually a bit curious about how Morphosis is going to do in Olimpico’s place; Olimpico’s been good on that team. Seems like it took an extra week for Morphosis’ name change to propagate over here. DNS is slower in Mexico. Think I should try very hard to record this one, at any rate.

Two minis matches on one day! If only any of them could get a rivalry.

LEGEND (SUN) 02/05/2012 Arena Lopez Mateos
***Villano III 40th Anniversary Show***
1) Danny Boy, Dinamico II, Gran Apache vs Mohicano I, Mohicano II, Ray Richard

Villano III started wrestling in 1970, but maybe he lost two years along the way.

3 thoughts to “Mexico, LyC, Volador, lots of lineups”

  1. Here’s how I see this going down in typical CMLL fashion:

DQ finish sets up a revancha match the following week. In the meantime the Tuereg/Cancerberos continue to team. Revancha match leads to a singles match with Virus vs Loco Max in 2 weeks. Cesar writes a blog post about how great the feud is and CMLL is showing their smarts by doing rudos vs rudos finally. Tuereg/Cancerberos keep teaming on other shows. In roughly 3 weeks time the feud is never acknowledged and everyone is back to teaming and being buddies. Cesar continues to pretend the feud exists… much like Metalico’s heel turn.
