Run of the mil show.
Molotov, Sensei, Starman vs Bronco, Camorra, Ramstein: going thru the motions match. No one seemed to get home and everyone got paid, so mission accomplished.
Ángel Azteca Jr., Dragon Lee, Fuego vs Cancerbero, Raziel, Virus: Better than the last match. Dragon Lee had a couple issues. He’s a guy who seems to have debuted about 7-8 months to early; he really was not ready until about the Magnus/Dragon Lee vs Puma/Tiger match (or maybe the Anniversario match.) Even with the imperfections (no idea what he was doing as part of the comeback), if he had came in wresting like he does now, I think people would have a lot stronger positive feels about him. But maybe he doesn’t get to where he is now without going thru the missed shooting star presses and the like.
Hijo del Fantasma, Metro, Stuka Jr. vs Misterioso Jr., Pólvora, Tiger: Tiger didn’t feel totally out of place here, but he also didn’t feel like any more than a random guy being shoved into this spot. This was not a luchador on the rise, this was a luchador, and one who got most of the screw up spots for his team. This match was technically fine but not particularly inspiring.
Ángel de Oro, La Máscara, La Sombra vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Terrible, Último Guerrero: Fine. Again. There was nothing here that distinguished this from any other match, there was nothing in Angel de Oro that distinguishes him from any other flyer here. He’s got slightly different dives and slightly different gear, but that’s it. That’s probably why they split the Angels apart, but it’s also probably why they should’ve kept them together. No one getting any interview time hurts here; I don’t know if Oro has a personality, because he’s just a guy who has matches . At least we might find out why they are angry at each other. Dragon Rojo vs Angel de Oro is what insta-feuds are made of, but perhaps they’ll surprise us.
LOL @ the edecan! I didn’t even notice the sign when I originally saw it. Thought they were just calling her bad names and she reacted poorly. Should be noted the entire guardrail area she gave the finger to is lined with children on every show. Classy stuff!:D
Metro’s finisher legit needs to be picking rudos up when they go to cover his partners and just dropping them with german suplexes. Metro seems to be really “getting it” now and understands his role is a big powerful dude who can do stuff the smaller guys can’t so he doesn’t need to be doing the small guys spots. I’m enjoying him a lot.
