Rudos took 2/3.

Rudos took 1/3, Halcon being DQed for taking Rayo I’s mask.
3) Black Warrior, Hijo del Fantasma, Sangre Azteca b Euforia, Vangelis, Virus
Tecnicos took 1/3, Sangre & Fantamsa beating Virus & Euforia.

Tecnico vs rudo sides, with the entire teams brawling before the first DQ. Eliminations went Delta (Felino), Texano (Porky), Maximo (Bucanero), Averno (Lyger), Terrible (Shocker), Porky (UG), Negro Casas (Atlantis), Metro (Volador), Lyger & UG with the double elimination, Bucanero (by Mascara but due to a Felino distraction), La Mascara (Felino), Volador (Atlantis), and Felino. That left two tecnicos, Shocker and Atlantis, to face off for the cup. Except Shocker didn’t act much tecnico, sneaking in a heel kick to foul Atlantis for the win.

Aeroboy & Flyer won DTU’s Gran Altenativa – like tournament on a show to celebrate the second year of their school. (Being DTU, this was nine teams, and three way matches.) In the undercard, Tacubo was knocked out by a legdrop; judging from the recap, he looked to be in a very scary way. He recovered and, absurdly, came back in to finish the match. Note to all luchadors: DON’T DO THAT. If you get knocked out, no one actually wants you to come back in the match.

Dragon Rojo says he made a good choice in cornermen for his title match. No argument there. Dragon Rojo notes Ultimo Guerrero was responsible for bringing him to CMLL in the first place. He also explains he spent all week mastering a new submission to help him here, which he’s calling Garras del Dragon (Dragon Claws.)

DTU’s Hormiga says he’s retiring after his mask vs hair match at DTU Anniversary show. Sort of points to a finish, though he’s saying he’ll retire win or lose. He announced this at a press conference to talk about the DTU @ Arena Naucalpan show. I know I’ve seen the full lineup but can not find it now; It was a pretty standard DTU type card with IWRG guys stars. The article mentions the Black Terry vs Onita Santana vs Paranoiko & Lider/Drastick vs Ultimo Gladiador/Aeroboy vs X-Fly/Pesadilla main event.

Estrellas del Ring has an interview with IWRG’s Triton about CMLL’s Triton.

SuperLuchas #439 has Triton, Mascarita Dorada and Io Shirai.

Rob has highlights of 11/26/10 CMLL11/22  & 29/10 Puebla and AAA 10/21/11. Plus, a crazy Fenix dive.

LuchaWorld has Alfredo on this past week’s AAAKrisZ’s news update and LuchaWorld Postcast Episode #4.
