Temerarios/Perros, Hardys, Ozz/Cuervo

IWRG (SUN) 09/11/2011 Arena Naucalpan [The Gladiatores]
1) Alan Extreme & Polifacético b Rolling Boy & Tritón
2) Carta Brava Jr., King Drako, Picudo Jr. b Astro de Plata Jr., Astro Rey Jr., Centurión
3) Dinamic Black, Golden Magic, Veneno b Bugambilia del Norte, Diva Salvaje, Miss Gaviota [semifinal]
4) Oficial 911, Oficial AK47, Oficial Spartans b Apolo Estrada Jr., Avisman, El Hijo del Diablo [semifinal]
5) Oficial 911, Oficial AK47, Oficial Spartans b Dinamic Black, Golden Magic, Veneno [final]
911 beat Veneno for the win. Gringos VIP & Picudo Jr. attacked the Oficials after the match. Picudo Jr. may be a Gringo now.
6) Black Terry, Durok, Freeyser, Machín b Bestia 666, Lizmark Jr., Súper Nova, X-Fly
Super Nova was here as a Perro, his first match in the building in five years. The Perros kept running in every time Black Terry got Super Nova in a hold, and it turned into a brawl from there. Terry, Freyser, X-Fly all bled. Perros took first, Temerarios took the second. Fresero Jr. hit Bestia 666 and X-Fly with a chair to set up a pin for him and Black Terry. Temerarios challenged for a trios title match.

Other News

Tomorrow is the big CMLL press conference. I would dare them to continue not to announce anything, but they might actually take that dare.

Next Sunday’s show is in Arena Mexico. The reports say Volador & Sombra were talking about their title match happening in Arena Coliseo, so either they didn’t know or it was a bit of a late change.

EAW announced they have signed Jeff and Matt Hardy to come in October and November. That’ll go fantastic!

Lady Apache says Sujei’s armbar to take the first fall of their title match bruised her collarbone and she was sure she was losing in straight falls, but valiantly came back to win (and will still go the US.)

CMLL’s Dama de Hierro explains she got her name because she’s “cold and calculating.” I like her already! She’s in Japan until December.

Rob has great dives from Lucha POP, and highlights from Perros 01/17/10 and AAA 08/19/11 Queretaro.

AJPW 09/11:  Masakatsu Funaki, Akebono [O], Ryoto Hama b Kenzo [X], Ozz, Cuervo (2:11) – Ozz & Cuervo turned on Kenzo as soon as the match started! Guess they found out what AJPW is paying nowadays. Ozz & Cuervo are now opposing Kenzo in trios until the 19th, with whoever is now wrestling in the junior tournament filling out the match.

09/11 AAA TV Results (Silao)

AAA TV (SUN) 09/11/2011 Palenque de la Feria, Silao, Guanajuato [AAA, Record (5)]
1) Mini Monster Clown, Mini Murder Clown, Mini Psycho Clown b Mascarita Divina, Mascarita Sagrada, Mini Charly Manson
Murder plancha on Sagrada to keep the win streak going.
2) Jennifer Blake & Yuriko b Lolita & Pimpinela Escarlata
Konnan was the rudas. Jen beat Lolita, and then Konnan beat the tecnicos with a bat. Konnan called Pimpi being Reina de Reinas champ a fraud, and demanded he hand over the belt, and announced Lolita would face Velvet Sky at Heroes Inmortales.
3) Billy Boy & Escoria b Jack Evans & La Parka
Escoria beat Jack, which sets up a title change match in Puebla
4) Electroshock & Heavy Metal b Chessman & Silver King
Jennifer was with the Maniacos, along with the other usual people. Electroshock German suplexed Chessman for the win, but the rudos still beat up the tenicos after the match.
5) Dr. Wagner Jr., El Mesías, Extreme Tiger b Damián 666, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Halloween
Mesias landed a top rope splash on Halloween. Post match challenges set up Wagner vs Perro for Wagner’s title, Mesias vs Sting, Abyss/Chessman vs Tiger/Evans for the AAA Tag Titles, and Konnan Big returning at Heroes Inmortales.

2011 AAA TV Chart
Mexico: 09/25 – maybe? Airing just only top 2 matches from the last taping makes a bit concerned they may just be skipping the undercard.

Heroes Inmortales so far

  • Jeff Jarrett (c) vs TBD [AAA HEAVY]
  • Sting vs Mesias
  • Dr. Wagner Jr. (c) vs Perro Aguayo Jr. [AAA LA] – Konnan Big is Perro’s second.
  • Chessman & Abyss (c) vs Jack Evans & Extreme Tiger [AAA TAG]
  • Lolita vs Velvet Sky (???)
  • something with Pimpi defending the Reina de Reinas title
  • something with the Perros and the Clowns
  • something with Parka and Cibernetico
  • maybe Zorro and LA Park (though they both have vanished since Verano de Escandalo)
  • maybe Nicho vs Lider (maybe combine this with the Clowns/Perros)
  • maybe the Pena Memorial Tournament? They haven’t hyped this on the web but have been pushing it to the magazines.
  • possibly something with Air Force vs Milicia, but this about the level it seems to be on the priority list.

No opponent yet for Jeff Jarrett is a bit interesting. Those first two matches may yet turn out to be one three way match.

This is also the show where every match has a stipulation, whether it helps or hurts. I am guessing Lolita/Velvet Sky ends up like the Lolita/Sexi Star match at the Perros del Mal show; a conventional match would do neither any favors.

Next taping is Friday in Puebla.
