not fun to be Bam Bam

Astral, Bam Bam, Shockercito vs Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Warrior: Fine trios match with the usual crew. This was more Bam Bam focused than these matches have usually been (and that’s probably a good thing, because Astral didn’t look much confident.)

Ángel Azteca Jr., Ángel de Plata, Fuego vs Dr. X, Loco Max, Nitro: Between Fuego’s anger and Angel de Plata’s reaction, I’m wondering if perhaps they wanted to see if they could keep this feud going while Fuego was a rudo. Plata did not seem to be understanding of his teammate’s move. Match was about an average match.

Felino has Sombra well scouted (about a year too late)

Black Warrior, Sangre Azteca, Valiente vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Héctor Garza, Olímpico: generic match, only noteworthy for Sangre having a good técnico showcase. Still kind of rare, this many months in. If Garza can get thru a match only doing kicks and making loud noises, I’m pretty sure he’s happy with that match.

Rey Bucanero: masochist

Rey Bucanero vs La Sombra, Blue Panther, Atlantis, Máximo, Texano, Felino, Sagrado for the NWA World Light Heavyweight cibernetico match: very fun. The Sombra/Bucanero five and half made this good all on it’s own, but the portion with everyone was a lot of good times too. This was a good Bucanero night. It’s really tough being Sombra – it seems like Volador and Rey have finishing moves that only seem to happen to him! I’d point out how good he and Texano worked together, but then Texano might come up with his own Sombra killing move and our hero would be in more danger. Instead, I’ll request Atlantis have a singles match with Sagrado before he switches side, just so we can get quebradora hombre vs his 2003 clone one time.
