2011 AAA TV Chart
Projected Air Date (#998)
Mexico: 07/24

This might be the last week of TV those going to the show see – it depends if AAA is on Saturday or Sunday the following week. People ordering the show on PPV (if there’s PPV) may still see angles on the next taping (Tulancingo), but they’re probably not going to wait until two hours before the show to announce a main event. AAA’s schedule this cycle really makes no sense. There are only four weeks of TV between TripleMania and Verano de Escandalo. There will be nine weeks of TV between Verano de Escandao and Heroes Inmortales. Why isn’t Verano a couple weeks later to space things out? Building availability is the only thing I can figure.

Anyway, getting back to the point: this show will probably make a fair chunk of the card clear, just for practical reasons.

Mini Psycho Circus – which may be designed as a surprise but a commenter on their facebook gave it away –  are debuting and actually making a lot of sense with the direction they’ve gone with the clowns the past year. I hope Mini Clown is being regmmicked into one of them and we don’t have seven different clowns bopping around, that’d be a bit much. ALSO, Monster Clown should try to put Mini Monster Clown in the bag. (And vice versa.)

This actually really good timing for Argos to come in – just in time to get the endorsement from the rest of the Air Force, and he gets more regular appearances with Jack & Aero in another hemisphere. Now, if we can just work on the match quality…

Drago is also on pseduo-sub duty; that’s normally Nicho’s spot. Nicho will hopefully spend his time creating more YouTube videos. Those are good rudos for Drago to work with, if they’re doing more than playing with tables and chairs.

This is the ninth time the Psycho Circus will face a variation of the Perros del Mal this year on TV. I’m sure they’ll be at double digits very soon.

This is the first time Samoa Joe has been in AAA since 2006, where Konnan was leading a TNA takeover of the Mexican promotion. Things really have changed! Park, Wagner, this will be a brawl into the crowd. If you’re sitting in the front two rows, either finish your drink before the main event starts or be prepared to lose it.

1) Alan Extreme & Dark Devil jd Saruman & Tritón
There are new rules for the first two matches on these shows. Openers now have a ten minute time limit. If they reach a draw, it’ll be up to the experts (Black Terry and ref Cavernas Torres) to pick the winner. They picked the ruods here.
2) Carta Brava Jr., Imposible, Keshin Black b Comando Negro, Dinamic Black, Golden Magic
Comando Negro was a replacement for Freelance and is still flirting with the tecnico side. Segundas will now be one fall 15 minute time limit matches, with the same judges decisions for tie breakers. Carta Brava beat Comando Negro with one minute left to get the win.
3) Angelico, Multifacético, Veneno DQ El Hijo del Diablo, Oficial AK47, Oficial Fierro
AK47 replaced 911, who appeared in a neckbrace to explain he was still out due to the martinete he took from Multifacetico. Noble tecnico Multifacetico attacked 911, hitting him in the head. Security took 911 to the back. Rudos won the first, tecnicos won the second. AK-47 was hurt on Angelico dive in the third. Veneno was about to finish Diablo, but Avisman and a new masked man ran in for the DQ. Diablo announced that the masked man was Kid USA, the new member of Los Gringos VIP. Golden Magic and Dinamic Black ran in for the save, and declared they were forming their own group, Los Revolucionarios.
4) Pantera b Último Gladiador [Rey del Ring]
Pantera is still wearing his mask. The two agreed to a technical match. It didn’t stay that way. Ultimo Gladiador own the first, Pantera took the second. Hijo del Diablo, second of Ultimo Gladiador, interfered to attack Pantera. Veneno, Pantera’s second, tried to stop him and was ejected by the referee. Hijo del Diablo interfered again, was caught, and ejected. Pantera won with a top rope hurracanrana.
5) Pirata Morgan & Silver King DQ LA Park & Máscara Año 2000 Jr.
Park was a tecnico tonight. Referee helped Pirata and Silver. They won 1 and 3, Pirata faking a foul from Park in the third.

Black Terry Jr. has put up the second match and the one two three falls of the title match

Other News

Halloween took Coco Rojo’s hair in an Arena Lopez cage match also including the Psycho Circus. Looks like a really strong turnout despite Mexico being in the U17 final and rain. Estrellas del Ring has a video interview with the loser.

5) Bestia 666, Damián 666, Halloween, X-Fly vs Carnage, Hommeless Jimmie, Kaos, Supreme

This is the XPW vs Perros show advertised/threatened. I don’t know what makes one Hommelless, but I hope someone helps Jimmie, or helps the poster. 500 ringside tickets are 500 MXPesos ($42), with a free t-shirt, and 500 other tickets are 300 ($26), so that’s a total of 400,000.
