Other News

A flickr photo gallery mentions Averno snuck in a foul before beating Mascara in Puebla. Averno’s not on next week’s card there, so they didn’t do it to set a rematch. Also, there was a moment of applause of Chico Madrid.

Stuka tells Fuego en el Ring that he’d like to form a permanent trio with Metal Blanco & Palacio Negro, and then challenge for the trios titles. I would like to see that match, but it’s always a good idea to talk up the Guadalajara guys while in Guadalajara.

Cesar – excuse me, “El Fideicomiso” – says an AAA referee visited CMLL offices recently, looking to make a move. If Hijo de Tirantes or Copetes jumps and there are twice as many CMLL matches with screwy referees, I will be very annoyed. It’s one of those or Piero; Pepe Casas probably would’ve moved long ago if he ever was going to switch.

Rob has a recap of the IWL iPPV and the top dives of 1995 in one two parts.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Nikita reviews the 2011 Reyes del Aire. I’m in the process of putting up the 2006 Reyes del Aire on YouTube; this one at least had a better crew than that.

Toscano’s teaming with Angel de Oro & Rush quite a bit; maybe they were planning on putting the national trios champs back together before Diamante’s injury?
