Hijo del Fantasma, Sagrado, Valiente vs El Alebrije, Histeria, Olímpico: Curse of Fantasma! CMLL doesn’t do anything with Sagrado, but they also don’t make sure the minis beat him. Anyway, good for the time.
Ángel de Oro vs Pólvora in the Forjando un Idolo tournament final fall 2 fall 3: Disappointing the full version only made the internet, but glad it at least made it there. This was the best match of Polvora’s life. It required Pólvora doing every single move he knew (which was more than I thought!) and not killing as much time between moves. This is not really a blue print for more good Pólvora matches, though he’s now a guy who I’d trust delivering in a big singles mask match, because he stepped up here. Angel de Oro was fine, but could’ve been any técnico, really.
La Máscara, La Sombra, Máximo vs Averno, Terrible, Texano: another strong build up match. They’ve really worked hard to make this feud mean something and seem to have done everything right so far. Please no Tirantes in the mask match.
