Astro Boy & Bengala vs Disturbio & Semental: fun if short match. Semental looks really good, Disturbio has promise, Astro Boy got to do a running flip one more time (and actually should wow people in; he’ll be ‘new’ to most of them) and Bengala did near holds. Great.
Dalys la Caribeña, Estrella Mágica, Luna Mágica vs Estrellita, Princesa Sugheit, Tiffany: Sugheit is great. Other people in this match are not great. Nice to see Estrella Mágica, hope to see her again in three months
Diamante, Fuego, Rey Cometa vs Dr. X, Hooligan, Virus: Dr. X is not quite Fuego’s speed (he’s fast, it’s tough), but the crowd is into this most random of midcard feuds. If ever a rivalry was picked by The Hat, it was this one, and yet people really got into at the end. (So it’s going nowhere.)
Ángel de Oro, Hijo del Fantasma, Valiente vs Felino, Mephisto, Negro Casas: I watched this match over about three days. They clipped out the comeback. We’re even! Angel de Oro had a tough night, everything else was what you’d think it’d be.
Black Warrior, Blue Panther, Strong Man vs Atlantis, Héctor Garza, Mr. Niebla: I started looking on thesaurus sites for alternatives to “rote”. Humdrum! Monotony! Redundant! We need a phrase to describe matches that are pretty fun when it’s the only match you’re seeing this year, or this month, but drain the life out of you when you see them twice a week. Maybe “Hector Garza matches”?
It is very funny that right under the Astro Boy’s move GIF there words are “ït’s going nowhere” :D
i watch cmll every saturday on latv are these new episodes filmed recently or are they a mash up of past shows from a few years ago?
@randomguy: So far, these 2 hours episodes are now new episodes. The old one hour format had new episodes some weeks and old episodes other weeks, and they may do that again at some point, but right now it’s all new.
