recap

Mascarita Divina, Mini Charly Manson, Octagoncito vs Mini Chessman, Mini Histeria, Mini Psicosis: totally rushed and totally felt like it. Not enough time for anything to stand out, except Chessman and his partners were less coordinated than I’d figure.

Aerostar

Aerostar, El Elegido, Laredo Kid vs Alan Stone, Decnnis, Súper Fly : Not as good as expected, highly on Laredo Kid not being Laredo Kid in this match. He was off on all his big spots (so much that we didn’t see half of them) and there wasn’t enough of anything else to make up for it. Elegido needs to work on a better submission if he can hold a guy in one for a minute and a half without getting him to give up.

Cuervo, Espíritu, Ozz vs Billy el Malo, Cibernético, Escoria : eh. Bizarros (Escoria and Billy) have been very good at eating técnico offense, and Cibernético actually helped a bit here. They lost me a bit in the beatdown, but the finish was fine enough. Cibernético should not make his chokeslam any more complicated than it needs to be, don’t want to push it.

How does this make air?

Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Damián 666, Halloween, X-Fly : normal brawl, plus the longest ref bump and the most indecisive finish. Piero draws a weird line on what he considers too much.

Nicho

el Mesías, Heavy Metal, Nicho el Millionario vs Chessman, Hijo del Lizmark, LA Park: So weird that the match that’s meant to be built up here is LA Park vs Mesías, but the match you actually want to see is LA Park vs Zorro. Or masked Zorro. They were pretty clear that those two were meant to be the same people on this show. Nicho was flying all over the place in this one.

  1. Galavision has changed the listed airings for this weekend, it has CMLL schedule to air saturday after the soccer game, the replay airing is also listed as CMLL, and there’s no show listed for sunday.

  2. @Albert: That’s what I see when I look at the TV Guide listings. Galavision still has the shows on the normal days (but not the normal times due to the Gold Cup.) Curious!

  3. no gif of mini chessman impaling the mat with his head thanks to Mascarita Divina? :O
