05/28-29 Lucha Times

box

AAA: Mesias/187 vs Chessman/Lizmark/Park, more Clowns vs Perros, more Bizarros vs Dark Family, Laredo has a not very good day, and minis. Lots of clipping too.

52MX: Warrior and the GDL 2 vs Ephesto, Felino, Misterioso; there be dives. Also, Garza/Niebla/Volador vs Mascara/Maximo/Porky

LATV: C3 is two weeks behind Mexico here (at least so far; let’s see how often or how many of these tapes turn up.) That means this week is the 05/10 show that Rob was raving about. Highlights include Semental & the apparent last appearance of Astro Boy (more in the morning), Diamante/Fuego/Cometa vs X/Hooligan/Virus and Felino/Mephisto/Negro vs Oro/Fantasma/Valiente

TF: Ephesto/Mephisto/Misterioso vs Sagrado/Stuka/Valiente and a main event which said to be not good. This is a good week to show the tercera instead, people in charge!

———-

CMLL: the two FuI semifinals, Metro/Porky/Valiente vs TRT and Peste Negra vs Sombra/Dorada/Rush. Notice something missing?

AAA-MEX: two matches in the ever evolving and never quite explained AAA trios tournament, Mesias/Tag Champs vs Decnnis/Halloween/Park, and Jeff Jarrett & Abyss in the main event. Something slightly important happens with Zorro.

FOX: A women’s trios + Averno & La Mascara, relegated to the show with much less visibility. Unless they change things around this week, and they really should.

C3: most notably, the first part of CMLL’s Super Light Tournament

Mega6: A show you won’t mind missing. Main event is Warrior/Sombra vs Felino/Niebla.

ACM: More of the Guerrero Negro/Estrella del Oriente show.

PdM: There’s a rerun on Friday, but the one we’re concerned with is Sunday’s live broadcast. TVC Deportes has them for a two hour show, 6-8 CT, so probably not the whole card. I hope they can go long or the Perros time out things very well; live TV is tricky.

IWRG: the show going on right now. Hijo de Climax won, hooray for him.

  1. I’m assuming a different Rob loved that C3 show? I haven’t seen it. I did rave about the 5/17 show though.
