Clean win for the tecnicos, a Stuka dive and Angels with their submissions.
5) Atlantis, Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero b La Máscara, Rush, Valiente
rudos took 1 and 3, Atlantidas all around for the win.

Couple notes for the week: I’ll be on Figure Four Daily this Wednesday to preview this week’s shows. I’ll also be running a chat here Friday night to talk about both shows. DST means things will be one hour later than usual, and running even later than usual (which is actually good if you’re watching NCAA basketball at the same time.) May want to take a nap.

AAA’s gone from a Box Y Lucha weekly serialized interview Maricela Pena to apparently banning them. Apparently it has something to do with Mesias? AAA is a moody bunch. This week’s Box Y Lucha 3017 has Demus shaved on the corner.

Black Terry Jr. has photos from Sunday’s Coliseo Coaalco show and from Arena Azteca in Pachuca.

Kcidis has Demus, suffering from a Virus.

03/13 AAA TV Results (Morelia)

AAA TV (SUN) 03/13/2011 Plaza de Toros Monumental, Morelia, Michoacan [Record, Mi Lucha Libre (4), MT]
1) Fabi Apache & Pimpinela Escarlata vs Alan Stone & Jennifer Blake [AAA MIXED TAG]
Fabi Apache did wrestle after all. She was limping, Hijo del Tirantes attacked that knee, and Jennifer put a half crab on the bad leg. Fabi was strechered out. New champions. First title for Jennifer in Mexico, first time Alan’s won a title without Chris.
2) Billy el Malo, Charly Manson, Taboo b Silver King, Último Gladiador, Zorro
Billy el Malo is Billy Boy, the newest Bizarro. He was dressed as a cowboy here. His team won after Zorro chased after the Iron Mask Zorro that’s been haunting him for a while.
3) Dr. Wagner Jr., Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown b Damián 666, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Halloween, Hijo del Lizmark
Hijo del Lizmark makes his debut, which had been in the works for a while. His team still lost, Wagner Driver on Damian. Perros beat up the Wagners after the match anyway. Not sure they the Perros just didn’t win the match.
4) Heavy Metal b Electroshock [bull terrier]
Tied up 2-2, Metal winning via low blow (due to midget distraction.) Maniacos wanted to help, Metal still doesn’t want their help, and walked off while the Maniacos beat up Electroshock after the match.
5) El Mesías, Joe Lider, La Parka b Cibernético, Escoria, Nygma
Unannounced match. Lots of chair shots and brawling. Tecnicos win, but the Bizarros attacked post match. Zorro wanted to run to attack Charly, but La Sociedad held him back. Psycho Circus & Wagner made the save

2011 AAA TV Chart
Projected Air Date (#981)
Mexico: 03/20
US: 04/02

Billy had been secretly working for the Bizarros for a while.

  • 10/01 taping: Decnnis tells Billy that Cibernetico is joining the rudos. Billy shows very obvious doubt about this and signals he’ll be turning on the Milicia at some point.
  • 10/20 taping: Super Fly is revealed as the traitor to the Milicia, Billy asks a question about the second attacker – he knows there actually is one, though they dismiss the idea.
  • 10/31 taping: After a Sociedad meeting, Billy calls someone (Cibernetico) to let them know about problems with LA Park.
  • 02/04 taping: Cibernetico finds out Charly Manson is getting the title shot, passes the information onto a Sociedad member (Billy), who passes it on to a very unhappy LA Park.

If you want to be especially generous, this goes all the way back to 02/27/2010 taping: Konnan halfheartedly apologized for stealing Sexi Star for the Legion, telling Billy to focus on his career, and Billy gave him a look of total contempt (and then later joined his rudo army.)

CMLL Guerreros del Ring on 52MX #275 (02/26/2011)

red light, green light

taped @ Arena Coliseo, 02/20/2011

recap: here
file: here

Fabián el Gitano, Leono, Starman vs Durango Kid, Hooligan, Puma King: A match. Hooligan helps make Fabian look good. Puma looked like quite the star in the first fall. He’s going to be very good.

Máximo, Sagrado, Sangre Azteca vs Felino, Shigeo Okumura, Yoshihashi: tecnico Sangre Azteca is trying to be…Solar + an inconsistent wheel kick? Just kind of maestro of holds, which works better with some people than others. No gold star for Yoshihashi tonight! I want to see Sagrado and Yoshihashi have a singles match just to explore the possibilities.
