CMLL (SUN) 12/12 Arena Mexico [CMLL]
1) Artillero, Camorra, Súper Comando b Bengala, Camaleón, Trueno
2) La Comandante, Princesa Sujei, Zeuxis b Dalys la Caribeña, Dark Angel, Lluvia
3) Ángel de Oro, Delta, Metro DQ Euforia, Nosferatu, Vangelis
4) La Máscara, Rotoporky, Strong Man b Felino, Negro Casas, Rey Bucanero
5) Volador Jr. b La Sombra
Volador dominated the first two falls, but Sombra pulled out a move to take the second. (Maybe the Brillante Driver.) Sombra tried to finish the third from the top rope, but Volador stopped him and finished him with the Spanish Fly. Cesar called it the best match of the year.
That match airs on FSE. Comedy match goes to 52MX. I’m willing to put a bounty on getting that FSE to the internet, if it’s help.
Metro had Euforia pinned in the tercera with a German suplex. Vangelis entered the ring, observed this, and opted to break it up by fouling Metro. This is why you’re never getting your return match, Vangelis.
Zeuxis got Dalis in the women’s match, a bit of an upset.
Pierroth appeared a forum sponsored show. He looks more like his old self, but the video of him talking is sad.
As teased on last week’s AAA TV in Mexico (the show that’ll air in the US next week), Silver King is trying to recruit Heavy Metal to the Maniacos, so they can all feud with Electroshock. Logical enough!
ESTO has a profile on Hijo del Gladiador, talking about his luchador training. Many names are mentioned having being trained or currently being trained by Arturo Beristain, including Ultimo Rebelde Jr. (Hooligan’s son, who just debuted months ago.)
Delta is currently leading the poll to determine the new trios partner for Stuka and Metro. It runs thru next Friday.
LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.
Black Terry Jr. has photos from an CMLL/indy Tlalnepantla show this afternoon.

Lineups
CMLL (FRI) 12/17 Arena Mexico
1) Metálico & Molotov vs Disturbio & Semental
2) Ángel Azteca Jr., Diamante, Sagrado vs Cancerbero, Raziel, Virus
3) Místico vs Brazo de Plata, Hijo del Fantasma, Delta, Ángel de Oro, Negro Casas, Héctor Garza, Averno, Texano Jr., Misterioso Jr. [Copa Jr.]
4) La Sombra, Máscara Dorada, Shocker vs Mr. Águila, Olímpico, Psicosis
Hey, look, Psicosis still works here! That’s ex-AAA who still appears to be on decent terms here. I know he’s booked tonight in GDL, but that doesn’t count nearly as much as a Friday main event.
Remember when CMLL was going to do Dragon Rojo vs Mistico in a singles match and then just didn’t? The theory Dr. Lucha advanced was the fans didn’t think Dragon Rojo was close enough to Mistico’s level to be a threat. Wellllll, Dragon Rojo just beat three top CMLL guys in consecutive matches this past Friday, the kind of thing you do when you’re trying to quickly get someone on Mistico’s level. Not to spoil the finish here or nothin’.
