Billy fouled Parka in the main event.

Arlequins get a win! I guess they’re got to still lose their hair.

Amo de Lucha Libre has various clips, including hype for the next trainee show.

Stuka/CMLL

CMLL (FRI) 11/12 Arena Mexico [SuperLuchas, CMLL, Cesar]
1) Molotov & StarmanEscorpion & Mortiz
2) Astral, Eléctrico, Pequeno MaximoPequeño Universo 2000, Pequeño Warrior, Pierrothito
3) Dalys la Caribeña, Dark Angel, MarcelaEstrellita, Seuxis, Tiffany
4) Stuka Jr.Raziel [lightning]
5) Felino, Negro Casas, Rey Bucanero DQ Héctor Garza, Mr. Águila, Taichi
6) Blue Panther, Místico, ShockerAtlantis, Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero

Shocker (Atlantis) and Mistico (Dragon) got the pinfalls in the main event. More Mistico/Dragon Rojo challenges.

Bucanero was about to make Mr. Aguila, so Tirantes waved to the back and Olimpico, Alebrije and Charly Manson ran. Invasors beat up Peste Negra AND Perico. What fiends. Aguila challenged Bucanero to a hair match, and that seems to be the direction they’re going. (How weird/bad will be if if CMLL backed off doing Mistico/Psicosis because they didn’t feel like it’d draw, then ended up doing Aguila/Bucanero?)

Seuxis had a new black outfit to match her teammates. Still lost to Dark angel.

Electrico won the first fall of the minis match when Pequeno Warrior pulled off his mask, Electrico got Warrior with a tapatia in the second to win the match, and Warrior took that mask too.

CMLL in NJPW
11/13 [Super J Block B]: Prince Devitt & Taguchi b Sombra & Mascara Dorada [Taguchi rolling reverse cradle Dorada]
The loss eliminated team CMLL, and they finished 3rd in their block. Jado & Gedo won the whole thing.

In post match interviews, Dorada mentioned he’d like a shot at Liger’s (CMLL) title.

CMLL’s press release says Tirantes was in the right to call the Canadian Destroyer a piledriver. We’ll see if that ever gets called that again.

If you want to spend 13 minutes of your Saturday listening to Perro Aguayo Jr., Damian, X-Fly and Bestia about how they’re totally on top of things and everything is going fine, this is the YouTube for you. I verbally submitted after 12 minutes.

Lineups

CMLL (FRI) 11/19 Deportivo Agustin Millan

3) Místico vs Misterioso II, Felino, Último Guerrero, Sagrado, Toscano, Scorpio Jr., Shigeo Okumura [mask, hair]

Three apuesta matches on the same show. Rosa Negra returns just in time to be really obvious. At least the main event has three possible losers.

CMLL (FRI) 11/19 Arena Mexico
1) Astro Boy & Robin vs Inquisidor & Tiger Kid
2) Ángel de Plata, Guerrero Maya Jr., Tigre Blanco vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Dr. X, Skándalo

5) Averno, Mephisto, Taichi vs Blue Panther, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada
6) Negro Casas, Rey Bucanero, Último Guerrero vs Charly Manson, El Alebrije, Mr. Águila

That lighting match will be a struggle.

Sombra/Dorada back from Japan, more Aguila/Bucanero – maybe others get pulled in.

  1. “CMLL’s press release says Tirantes was in the right to call the Canadian Destroyer a piledriver. We’ll see if that ever gets called that again.”

Escorpion won the match with that move yesterday. They couldn’t even hold off a week to prevent themselves from looking dumb.

  2. @Nikita: Incorrect. The press release was saying CMLL officials agreed with Tirantes’ call and Rafa El Maya was actually in agreement with the call after the match last week if you watch on television. This really stinks of being very AAA-ish in the sense refs will call DQ’s for chairshots/run-ins at random but totally ignore it in other matches.

  3. Well, I will agree that there appears to be waaaay to much redtape in CMLL concerning who programs what to do something like this successfully.

  4. Also this is a great time to ask that someone in CMLL pick one person to use the Canadian Destroyer. In the past weeks I’ve seen Escorpion, Astro Boy, Rey Bucanero and Tiger Kid all using the move.

  5. CMLL Galavisión started 5 minutes before the hour, but just the presentation, no matches yet.
Fox Sports aired expected matches :)

  6. Technically solid match but crowd couldn’t care less. Also looks like a really small crowd.

Stuka Jr. ran through the crowd afterwards which completely spoiled the mystery luchador of the week b/c Toscano was standing there talking to the fans. OOPS.

  7. CMLL.com has videos up from last night covering the mini’s, women and main event. A change for the positive but let’s see how long it lasts…

  8. @CM93: I see it from the customer’s side and since there are few big companies and a lot of local ones not unified even if you pay premium price you do not get to see all channels :(

  9. @Alfredo: I like it too. The speed at which it is being updated right after the end of the events and the “carteles” are so nice.
Now I need to check cmll.com daily… I’m afraid to fall into the obsessive side :P

  10. Matches are:
StarMan, Tigre Blanco, Angel de Plata b Apocalipsis, Durango Kid, Puma King
Estrellita, Tiffany, Marcela b Amapola, Princesa Blanca, Princesa Sujei

Plus a long promo with Mascara/Mascarita Dorada

  11. No Peq Warrior/Electrico? Guess that feud won’t show up anywhere. Women’s match was also on the main show.

Local GDL starts with Truenos vs Palacio/Metal. Could be wild.

  12. At least they joined the 3rd fall at the dive sequence and not after it.

Tecs take it wit dual ranas. Editing really hurt what looked like a great match.

  13. Even cut to shreds that match ruled. The tecnicos are just nuts with those dives.

Meanwhile on C3. Camelon almost sends his opponent into the 3rd row.

  14. Just remembered that Charly Manson gave his C3 postmatch without makeup.
Looking at his face, I confirmed that if he wanted, he could get by with another gimmick.

  15. At one point did AAA think they’d look more professional by eliminating ring entrances? Just showing a graphic with who is wrestling is so 1980’s.

  16. Are there any tecnico refs left in AAA? Copetas was just being a rudo (although he also slow counted the rudos, perhaps forgetting for a moment that he was a rudo) and Tirantes Jr. was a rudo in the previous match. Who is the tecnico ref these days? And how did Copetas turn between Triplemania and now?
