Charly Manson takes Negro Casas’ hair, UG, lineups

CMLL (FRI) 10/15 Arena Mexico [Superluchas, CMLL]
1) Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Warrior, PierrothitoMascarita Dorada, Shockercito, Último Dragoncito
2) Amapola, Princesa Blanca, Princesa Sujei DQ Estrellita, Marcela, Tiffany
3) Histeria, Mr. Águila, Ray Mendoza Jr.Blue Panther, Diamante, Metro
4) Dragón Rojo Jr.Valiente [lightning]
5) La Máscara, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada DQ El Alebrije, Olímpico, Psicosis
6) Charly MansonNegro Casas [hair]

Many tecnicos and rudos accompanied Negro Casas to the ring to show support. Charly got the first, Negro got the second. As Negro went for another casita to take the third, Tiratnes ‘accidentally’ clotheslined him while walking to the corner and pointing at something. Charly immediately got his own casita and won the match. The Invasors all hit the ring to celebrate, and Charly cut off some of Negro’s hair himself. Charly was wearing a “Barrio San Lorenzo” shirt after the match.

Olimpico tried to foul Sombra, got blocked, and pulled his mask off instead. Rudos left all the tecnicos unmasked and made a challenge for the trios titles, should these guys still be champs after Sunday.

Women’s match went straight falls. Sujei tossed her mask to Tiffany in the second fall to draw the DQ. Estrellita crashed and burned on a moonsault, striking her face on the ground, but was out with the rest of the Invasors at the end of the night.

Early photos, during the opener, showed a very empty building. It surely filled in some, but no photos from later indicate it didn’t totally fill in.

Ultimo Guerrero told the ANN that he had not talked to AAA about jumping, claiming he’s never talked to the man who runs AAA. He’s very happy in CMLL and will tell everyone himself if he ever decides to secretly leave.

Starting 10/31 and continuing for the rest of the month, CMLL will be running full DF cards in Guadalajara on Sundays. Someone else running there? CMLL trying to keep the DF people happy by handing out a few extra bookings?

Ras de Lona had a new graphic package, focusing on Sombra vs Dragon Rojo. Lots of talk with people who have big matches the next few days. There was a bit with Blue Panther talking about all the big masks he won. Negro Casas does a strong fired up promo for the hair match. Also, Milano’s invisible dog has come out of retirement to hang out with Taichi.

  1. I now know the difference between Dragon Rojo Jr. pre-joining the GDLA and the Dragon Rojo Jr. currently in the GDLA.

He uses “We Will Rock You” as his music.

    That’s it.

  2. That was kinda of bad how Mascara Dorada overshot Alebrije.

La Masacara didn’t seem to trust Psicosis on that plancha and landed on his feet instead.

  3. Dark Angel saying “don’t turn away during the commercial” looked a lot like the mystery woman from the wrestler of the week deal. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Should go without saying but this program is so awful. 1 hour in and two matches than went 6 minutes and 12 minutes respectively but still had edits in each of them.

  4. 52MX has the tag team tournament – they actually START with post match replays eliminations of the battle royal. That’s the way to go. Though they’ll probably just make up with a lot of reruns from elsewhere.

  5. Tiger and Puma’s fused masks look great and they have a stretch of greatness, and then Puma kills his brother with a superkick and it’s all very :( from there

  6. Chicana vs MS-1 from 1983 is the blast from the past. With actual match clips! Maybe a bad idea to show two guys spilling a ton of blood and sweating profusely after a 20+ minute match when you’re about to air Manson and Negro in a 12 minute match with no blood and not even near as much emotion as this match had. Just a thought.

  7. @LLL: The show was put up on torrents. WarriorsX2000 had a problem recording it and is taking a week off anyways so it wouldn’t have been up till next week.

23 minutes since CMLL TV has showed anything inside the ring.

  8. Didn’t know CMLL was allowed to play music that screams the word ‘FUCK’ but okay. They should put that on the kids website.

  9. @CM93: Jajaja you are truly a Charly fan :) I would have prefer his win without Tirante’s intervention.
Hopefully this kind of finish will not repeat for a long long time.

  10. During the postmatch interview at C3 Texano says something in the sense that with Terrible and Misterioso they are the new tercia… now I am really worried about Poder Mexica.

  11. ACM starts 15 minutes late with a Hector Garza interview that gets cut off and the Garza/Bucanero vs Fantasma/Shocker match.
