Atlantis pulled Rayo’s mask in the main event. Alternate Anniversary main event #1!

a usual Toryumon Mexico show/Black Terry Jr.

Two straight weeks of Avernos beating Invaders, despite Tirantes slow counting the CMLL guys. Rodolfo Ruiz, aka Averno’s Father, was the other ref, got annoyed with Tirantes and fast counted a pin.

According to CMLL Magazine, Invaders offered a mask vs mask match – if Tirantes is the only referee.

According to Cesar, a brawl broke, with the Invaders running away, but leaving Cuije behind. Avernos captured the mini, and Alebrije had to run back out to take a beating so Cuije could get away. Avernos ripped off Alebrije’s mask.

These two stories probably connect together somehow. Also, Alternative Anniversary main event #2! I really should not be making these jokes four weeks out, but that’s where CMLL is. They really should have the main event clearly already, but since it’s not clear, maybe on Friday? Maybe?

Loco Max, about to lose in two straight, fouled Rush for that DQ. I encourage him to do the same next week. If you’re going to lose, make it count (and quick.)

Looks like there was a Toryumon show this weekend. Biggest problem remains figuring out what photo to use.

Psicosis says he’s upset about Sombra & Shocker getting in his way from beating Mistico, and doesn’t want more people involved.

News around the internet is ROH’s Tyler Black getting a WWE deal. That has nothing to do with lucha, but since he almost surely went to the tryout camp last week, that means other people from the tryout camp should know if they’ve got an offer or not.

In Laguna today, Dr. Wagner runs an AAA show, and a local show features Hooligan teaming with Ultimo Rebelde (Hooligan’s previous identity.)

Dragon Gate USA is still not much of a fan of LA Park’s (entirely predictable) match for them back in Phoenix.

Rob reviews Lucha Libre USA episode #3.

Cesar evaluates this week’s lineups, and looks at possibilities for the anniversary show, including Olimpico in the main event and Latin Lover on the card.

SuperLuchas 376 has Wagner & Lyger on the cover.

Since today’s match is a weird four way tag, this is the first time all four Oficials will team up. Koslov and the Gringos seems like a fine idea. First time the AAA women have worked here, and the first all AAA match.

Lizmark & Brewer join Charly Malice & Marco Corleone in moving on to the semifinals. It’s probably Marco/Brewer and Malice/Lizmark, but the way Brewer’s been pushed, they could rearrange to have him in the final.

How did Solid get in the tournament? Way to lose both tournament matches, Mascara Purpura.

Tag team tournament so far is Lizmark/Sydistiko (problematic!), Oriental & Tinieblas, PR Powers, and a fourth TBD.

We jumped the gun on Mentallo! He’s here now. Tornado Azteca seems to be debuting, and the unknown guy in the early trios is described as a big guy in a purple mask. Maybe Saber Claw got a new mask?

Main event was Boricuas vs Mexicanos. Third guy was Oriental.
