Much less interesting than previous weeks.
Laredo Kid, Mari Apache, Súper Fly vs Billy Boy, Jennifer Blake, Tigre Cota: Much as I’d like to be, I’m no evil mastermind. Still, it seems to me, if you’ve got someone who’s going to turn on your opponents whenever you ask, maybe you tell them to do it right away instead of waiting eight minutes. Still, best match on the show.
AAerostar & Fabi Apache vs Alex Koslov & Christina Von Eerie for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship: I’m pretty sure Christina Von Eerie would like large stretches of this match back to do again. At least the finish was okay enough, and that’s the only part they’ll show.
Jack Evans & Rocky Romero vs Damián 666 & Halloween: Rocky was in the right and was going to turn rudo about it, that’s about how things usually go here. Also, this match, which cleverly illustrated the difference the difference between building to a cresendo and just doing more moves because they haven’t hit the time mark yet.
Joe Lider & Nicho el Millionario vs Hernandez & Zorro: Eh. I guess the idea is the Legion didn’t care about winning or losing because they just wanted to destroy Lider & Nicho, but Hernandez did kind of seem to care about losing in the end. I didn’t care, so it evened out.
Dr. Wagner Jr. & La Parka Jr. vs Chessman & LA Park: The house show match with the TV show finish. It felt stretched out here, but I’m sure the fans got their money’s worth and all.
Boy, that Christina Von Eerie girl was awful. I think the only move she learned was that pin before having a match. I’m sure Konnan can find some decent-looking female talent who have…you know, in-ring ability, as opposed to finding girls who’ll sleep with him and Dorian for a chance to be on TV. Then again, I guess I see why she’s there now.
@John G.: She hasn’t been near this bad in her other matches, so it may just have been one exceptionally bad day. But what a unfortunate time to have a bad day.
