Stuka & Metal Blanco keep their masks, LLUSA

CMLL (TUE) 07/27 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [Fuego en el Ring, SuperLuchas]
1) Relampago b Cerveruz
2) Ángel del Mal & Infierno b Angelo & Astaroth
3) Neutrón & Palacio Negro b Malefico & Mr. Trueno
4) Máximo, Rotoporky, Shocker DQ Atlantis, Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Bucanero
5) Metal Blanco & Stuka Jr. b Exterminador & Máscara Mágica [hair]

Rudos won the first, and were going to win the second when they got themselves DQed for pulling off the tecnicos match. In the third, Stuka was eliminated, then Exterminador, so it came back to the Magica/Metal feud it started with. Magica gave Metal a neckbreaker and pinned him and got the win.

Except the commission rep noticed Magica’s feet were on the ropes and ordered a restart. This time, they had a ref bump and Magica fouling Metal Blanco. Stuka jumped back in the ring, dropped Magica, did his splash, and put Metal Blanco back on top. Tecnicos won. Rudos walked off, but came back and got their hair cut off.

Maximo faked a foul from Atlantis in the semimain.

The usual monthly show from this group, but on the other side of the border, in Laredo, Texas. Hope there’s no problems with that. Super Sky Team together is a bit odd.

Earlier in the week, there’s a tag team tournament with CMLL wrestlers in Leon. Mistico & Mascara Dorada is the way to go. Odd they’re running in Leon on a Wednesday.

  1. Latin Lover moving to San Antonio eh? That’s where Shawn Michaels lives. There’s also a large Mexican demographic there so he should feel at home.

  2. Now that the Arizona law lost it’s teeth, doesn’t this kill RJ Brewer’s heat?

  3. LLUSA will be okay, they have to struggle first. That’s common sense, having over a 100,000 viewers your first two shows is not bad. Compare to TNA first two shows as a company, they had 5000 people purchasing ppvs but they lost A LOT OF MONEY. LLUSA actually not in a bad spot compare to how others started. The contract is good for 52 weeks.
