Monterrey, Porky, CMLL Trios

indy (TUE) 03/30 Arena Coliseo Monterrey [RFC]
1) Mini Hator b Tequilita
2) Lover Boy & Quinto Misterio b Babe Fox & Eclipse
3) Raiden b Corazon Adicto
4) Golden Boy & Pancho Tequila b Monje Negro Jr. & Sergio Romo Jr.

Hator faked a knee injury, then rolled Dorada up to retain the title.

Super Porky says Hector Garza has been helping him lose weight, but now Hector keeps bugging him to do dives and hitting him during matches, and Porky is sick of it. So this feud is all about Brazo de Plata being cranky about being on a diet? And why aren’t their vignettes about this? Cesar makes the case that Hector Garza really should be the rudo in this feud, as he’s better at that than a tecnico. I think the bigger issue is Porky really has to be a tecnico, because no one’s going to want to see him as a rudo at this point in his career.

Maybe related, Ovaciones focuses on the CMLL trios titles, comparing Los Brazos and Angeles de Rebeldes. Most of it reads like they were trying to get a column out of the CMLL Trios luchawiki page, but this is probably setting up an upcoming title match.

SuperLuchas says Sunday’s Arena Coliseo show is CMLL’s anniversary show for that building. Wish CMLL would say that.

Joe Lider vows to be Heavy Metal’s litmus test, judging if he’s good enough to be back in AAA.]

On Tercera Caida, LA Park said he might not wrestle La Parka Jr. at TripleMania, since he’s soundly destroyed him already. Instead, he might next go to Arena Mexico and beat up Mistico next. Do not believe this man.

Rayman talks to SuperLuchas about his feud with Cesar Dantes in Guadalajara. Near the end of the article, Rayman mentions he’s going to Germany in October with Todos x el Todos. Do the German readers know anything about this?

The AAA Tag Team Titles will be defended on 04/10 in Korakuen Hall.

Cesar thinks Atlantis vs Shocker is the big feud to do right now. I don’t think either guy is particularly hot, but it’d be a closer batter than most and it’d give the “push the old guys” crowd something they want.

  1. Cesar is wrong. Hector Garza is so much better as a technico.

I don’t like this whole thing of Garza and Porky not getting along since they make such a good team. I remember one post match interview they did together on Cadena 3 where they were hilarious together.

They’ve done this bit where Tascano kept hitting Porky and complaining during the match. Since Toscano is an asshole this went well, but Garza shouldn’t be doing this.

  2. I sure hope Garza isn’t ol’ Danny’s new “Latin Lover”…

    Garza = good cocky heel
Garza = good pretty boy babyface
