They should be able to get this to air in five days, but this is about as long as they can wait to run another taping. Five matches means these all should air.

Electro is no longer friends with his teammates, so he teams with them here. Theoretically, this is a Chessman vs Electroshock TripleMania preview, but not at all in reality. Reality seems much more like they’re just killing time before running their TripleMania angles.

Hermandad also are not so happy with Konnan, so they team with him here. That match does not seem promising for Konnan.

I wonder if the Dark Family will destroy Jack Evans again. I wonder if I’m still supposed to be remembering that.

Genuinely excited for Alex/Rain vs Fabi/Aero. Alex vs the Apaches was much better than I had figured. If the Legion has to win all the the titles, they might as well take care of both sets of tag belts before moving on. We just need to figure out which random US indy guy shows up to win the Cruiserweight title (WON says they’re high on Flip Kendrick but haven’t offered him a deal), maybe have Von Eerie steal the Reina de Reinas title from Sexi Star, and then build that all to Chessman versus whomever for the Mega title at Verano de Escandalo or the Pena show.

Laredo Kid, the new star of the openers! Don’t care, match will be good, better than a lip service push.

  1. Why not have the six wrestlers in the opening match be the wrestlers fueding over the Cruiserweight Championship. AAA has the “talent” (lol … i know that made me laugh too) to have a decent Cruiserweight Division with outside talent.

  2. I have a feeling this won’t air till 4/18. The DF show from 3/19 should easily be able to fill 2 seperate weeks of TV.

  3. @Rob: I thought that originally, but it did turn out to be only a six match card, and I’m not sure how they can get 2 shows out of it.

  4. @MPJ-DK: La Hermandad’s gimmick is they work for the highest bidder that needs their service. They’ll help whoever for the right price. So, they’re gonna go back and forth between helping the Foreign Legion and others (like Pimpinela). They have been building their storyline to where they think Konnan’s screwing with them and I’d assume that they’ll be turning on Konnan as part of the power struggle, with Joaquin Roldan maybe out-bidding Foreign Legion for their services.

At least, that’s what I think will happen, but them switching back and forth is actually their hired-goons gimmick.
