Ángel Azteca Jr., Ángel de Plata, Fabián el Gitano vs Puma King, Skándalo, Tiger Kid – fun match. I have some time, Puma King and Tiger Kid should be Arena Coliseo Tag Team champions (or at least that’s the level where those title should be), Skandalo & Plata is good, and Angel Azteca Jr. is really smooth for his experience, including that moonsault. And Fabian was perfectly acceptable!

Rush, Sagrado, Toscano vs Dragon Rojo Jr., Misterioso II, Sangre Azteca – this was a bit by the numbers, but reminded me to catch up on some Puebla TV because I’m sure I’m missing some Poder Mexica triple teams which are only hinted at here. I guess Toscano winning is better than Rouge?

New Feature: NAME THIS MOVE (after the jump, because it’s a huge GIF.)

It’s got to be something along the lines of Cat-a-pult. The pun is right there.

If they’re lifting this from someone else, what are they calling it?

  1. I don’t know who Cryme Tyme is but Felino’s kids have been using this move dating back over a year now and I’ve seen it done numerous times on the indy circuit.

  2. And if WWE brings in Mystyco or Mystico, fans in the US will think CMLL “lifted it” if they find out there’s a Mistico.

  3. Doesn’t the North Star Express use a move similar to that? I seem to remember them using it on various Chikara DVDs I have.

  4. I believe the NSE refer to it as the “Cruz Control.” But yeah, that’s been one of their finishers for at least 3-4 years.

  5. Sorry for using the term “lifted”; I was just using it based off of Cubs using it in the post, and having seen Cryme Tyme using the hold (due to being on WWE) as opposed to others on the indy circuit.
