AAA Movie, Ciber/Konnan, Mexico preview

AAA says their movie will debut on January 22, 2010.

Yesterday’s Cibernetico press conference included the obligatory Konnan run-in. Yelling and fighting ensued, and a non-sanctioned match is signed for Guerra de Titanes. That’s 2 matches for the show, which is good since there’s only 2 more tapings before the show.

Preview of tonight’s show:
ESTO – pushed as Mistico/Felino
– the notimex one from earlier in the week, who’s link I don’t have handy here.

With the hair match set for 12/04, this week is all about discovering if they’ve to a co0main event (Averno/Mistico?) to the show.

SuperLuchas has photos from yesterday’s CMLL press confrence. I’m high on the Cacncerbero’s gear (and wondering why Cancerbero himself has the Semental logo on his gear) and this art, but down on Fuego’s new mask.

ESTO thinks CMLL announced Averno & Ultimo Guerrero will be working the 01/04 NJPW show. Not sure about that.

In an interview before his match in Arena Xalapa on Wednesday, Mistico says he was happy to hold the IWGP Junior Heavyweight championship longer than any Mexican ever, but he would’ve been okay to have it for even one day. Plus, he had beaten Tiger Mask in Tiger Mask’s home, so Mistico considers the whole thing a success. (Mistico’s got to be someone who doesn’t want tape of his own matches.) Mistico teases matches CMLL will not do for months if ever for the remainder of the article.

Pancracio has good career interviews with Lizmark Sr. and Black Shadow.

  1. Oh and Fuego’s new look? He looks like he stole Booker T’s old ring gear. Is “Fuego” really the best they can do? that’s just so Generic

  2. @CM93: Kurt called today and asked me to remove the show. Kurt has a tendency to do the show with sleep deprivation and sometimes stuff that shouldn’t be said, is said during show due to him not thinking clearly. I guess this time around he realized he probably shouldn’t have said it the following day.

Since its a blogtalkradio podcast, I had to remove the whole thing and even if I could have edited, Kurt mentioned it so many times, I’d have probably just deleted it anyway. Its part of the risk of having Kurt on blogtalkradio. He’ll sometimes say things that he, himself, will regret.

Moral of the story, ‘friends shouldn’t let friends do podcasts while experiencing sleep deprivation’! LOL!

  3. @CM93: Kurt was shocked that I wasn’t upset about it, but its not like I wasn’t expecting this to happen at some point. I’m surprised it took the 20th episode for something like this to happen. :)

  4. @CM93: It wasn’t bad, but more someone he regretted bringing up during the show. I actually didn’t think it was a big deal, but then again I don’t bring up stuff going on in my everyday life on podcasts. LOL! I’m a little more internet savvy I guess.:)

The good news is Kurt will have to spend MORE money buying another Tim Lincecum SF Giants t-shirt (disgusting!) live during the next show.

  5. TDN got los Gatos Negro & Skandalo vs los Angels. Unless the lightning match (or something else) aired before I switched channels and started recording, they only got on match tonight.

In a completely unrelated question, Rob, what’s the best way for me to get in contact with you? Email, facebook, or IM work for me.
