FELINO XXX!/CMLL
FELINO XXX/CMLL

CMLL (TUE) 11/10 Arena Mexico [CMLL]
1) Apocalipsis & Ramstein b Principe & Trueno
2) Diamante, Leono, Tony Rivera b Bronco, Dr. X, René Guajardo Jr.
3) Flash, Rouge, Stuka Jr. b Loco Max, Nitro, Skándalo
4) Sagrado, Toscano, Valiente b Dragon Rojo Jr., Misterioso II, Sangre Azteca
5) Héctor Garza, Máscara Dorada, Shocker b Atlantis, Felino, Negro Casas

Dorada got Negro again, which sets up a Welterweight title match next week. Dorada will be carbo-loading all week to bulk up from Super Lightweight. I’m thinking some good pasta meals, maybe steak and potatoes, ice cream – got get on those 10 extra pounds from making weight on Sunday at Super Lightweight to making weight here at Welterweight. Or does Dorada just walk around at Welterweight and drop down to Super Light? Can Fuego or someone ask for me? That’d be great.

CMLL recap oddly mistakes Skandalo for Shocker. Who should be offended there? There’s also pictures on the news page of wrestler at the opening of Rosalio Vera’s photo exhibition, and Shocker looks 300 years old for some reason. You fill in the reason here.

CMLL (TUE) 11/10 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [Fuego en el Ring]
1) Thunder Boy & Virgo b Katana & Titanio
2) Acertijo & Ebola b Metatrón & Nube Roja
3) Drago & Mr. Trueno b Astaroth & Hierro
4) Metal Blanco, Metro, Palacio Negro b Ángel del Mal, Arkangel de la Muerte, Rey Trueno
5) Blue Panther, Brazo de Plata, Máximo b Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto

Billed as the first team up of Porky & Maximo since Porky’s been back. Nothing storyline wise.

AAA GLOBAL (SUN) 11/08 Parque Revolucion de Culican [Noroeste]
1) Monster Truck, Muralla Negra, Vampiro Infernal b Kempo Dragon, Psiclope, Relampago
2) Aerostar & Fabi Apache b Billy Boy & Sexy Star
3) Extreme Tiger b Joe Lider [AAA CRUISER]
4) Cibernético & El Elegido DQ Chessman & Zorro

Ciberentico turned on Elegido. So I guess he’s still a rudo?

LuchandoLibre posts more pictures of “Alebrije” helping building houses and is pretty sure it’s a new one.

Reforma via WagnerMania has an interview with Dr. Wagner, who complains the new place is too late the old place: they won’t let him take the Parka’s mask, management doesn’t promote him enough, blah blah blah.

AAA talks to Rocky Romero about his ROH trip. It’s Alex, Rocky, Teddy and Jack going. Rocky says he wants a singles match with Alex on the New York show, and that they’ll only be in the US for a few days before coming back.

El Mexicano has an interview with Blue Demon Jr., talking about his career and wrestling being ruined by television.

The Gladiatores have video interviews with Chico Che and Gringo Loco about last week’s hair match.

Record posts an interview with Jushin Liger, presumably from their magazine. Liger calls Mexico his second home and declares he’ll take the title back from Misico (so, this is clearly a while ago.)

A Masked Repbulic press release on SuperLuchas says they’ve hired Konnan, and will create Konnan shirts and gear. I’m sure they’ll be very popular in the comment section of this site.

Cronicas y Leyendas has part 3 of a series on Rey Misterio Jr.

R de Rudo has a bio of Halloween.

Kcidis posts a video of Santo and others in action from the movie “Santo y el Aguila Real”.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

AAA CANTU (MON) 11/16 Arena Cuatro Camino de Nuevo Laredo [RFC]
1) Angeluz & Super Boy vs Crazy Warrior & Mini Rio Bravo
2) Mari Apache & Street Boy vs Black Mamba & Tiffany
3) Babe Rap, Estrella Universal, Hombre Sin Miedo vs Joe Bravo, Tigre Cota, Tito Santana
4) Alan Stone, Joe Lider, Máscara Púrpura vs Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown

Mascara Purpura has been working around here for a while, but this placement adds to the rumor of him joining this promotion. Welcome to AAA, now lose to the Psycho Circus! What an odd trio.

Joe Bravo is either a typo or they’ve decided to just change Rio Bravo II’s name to something else. Something else weird, but something else.

  1. Gringo Loco’s should change his name to Love Machine Jr. It suits him better than his generic lucha name.

  2. I would wish Masked Republic and Big Vision more luck with their US projects than anything they’ve been involved with in Mexico.

    How’s that NWA Mexico?

But seriously, if they can honestly get a Lucha Libre series into US syndication and merchandise in retail stores, they have my support. With their track records, outside of their sold shows in the southern states, good luck!

  3. “LuchandoLibre posts more pictures of “Alebrije” helping building houses and is pretty sure it’s a new one.” This now brings up another question. Who’s going to be the new Cuije ? Tzuki ? Atomo ?? Novillerito ???

  4. I’m surprised they didnt put one under the mask right after he left. same with psicosis and hystria.

  5. Most likely the people who wanted the photo op with the AAA guys said “Send Alebrije” because he’s one of the guys people identify with AAA.

Wonder why they didn’t say “send Rocky Romero” or “send Jennifer Blake”. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

  6. I can’t feel bad for Alebrije getting replaced as a character considering he was a fucking fake Mascara Sagrada. The real one should go back to being Kraneo, that costume is rad

  7. Has there been any info on IWRG on Teleformula on Saturdays? That was the last rumor we heard.

Hey Fredo, don’t you have Dish. Dish subs in the US should get it. I think.

  8. @LLL: Anyone know if Teleformula is on Cablevision Mexico City? I don’t see anything in my guide that looks like it, but not sure if its one of the local channels that might be called something different.

  9. @LLL: Its one of the new additions to the Spanish package. I don’t see IWRG listed. A lot of shows for women though. What time is it suppose to be on?

  10. @Alan: Maybe Canal TeleMex? I know it’s listing as Teleformula on my channel guide (just the channel isn’t broadcasting on my system yet, and I don’t think I saw listings for lucha but I need to run thru the cable guide.)

To my knowledge, IWRG hasn’t said anything about when the shows would air. Just that they were taped. Maybe the Gladiatores would know…

  11. @thecubsfan: Thanks. I don’t see anything that looks like that in the guide either. Did a flip through the channels in the range where it would probably be located and didn’t see anything with their logo, so I’m guessing they aren’t on Cablevision.
