Excessive violence in Coliseo, Dorada retains in GDL, Dr. Cerbero bald (again) in Naucalpan

CMLL (SUN) 11/08 Arena Coliseo [CMLL]

4) Blue Panther, Máximo, Valiente DQ Naito, Sangre Azteca, Yujiro
5) Brazo de Plata, La Sombra, Volador Jr. b Averno, Mephisto, Texano Jr.

Clean win in the main event.

Sangre Azteca replaced Ray Mendoza Jr. His team lost in straight falls went No Limit got DQed for excessive violence on Maximo. This sets up Maximo’s hair match vs Okumura, somehow.

Horus replaced Rouge, who’s presumably still sick.

CMLL (SUN) 11/08 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Titanio b Principe Dylan
2) In Memoria & Titanio b Meteoro & Virgo
3) Magnum & Samurai b Egipcio & Rafaga
4) Euforia, Infierno, Leon Blanco b Gallo, Neutrón, Stuka Jr.
5) Atlantis, Negro Casas, Último Guerrero b Héctor Garza, Shocker, Toscano
6) Máscara Dorada b Dragon Rojo Jr. [CMLL SL]

Dorada took the first, Dragon Rojo the second with his wacky dropkick, Dorada survived the dropkick a couple times and locked on a submission for the win.

Clean win the in the fourth as well. All sorts of people involved in next week’s cage match got involved in the 3rd and 4th matches.

IWRG (SUN) 11/08 Arena Naucalpan [Al Filo del Ring, EdR]
1) Mascarita Ano 2000 & Piratita Morgan b Bracito de Platino & Octagoncito
2) Flor Metalica b La Diabólica
3) El Hijo del Diablo, Hijo de Pirata Morgan, Oficial Fierro b Exodia, Freelance, Ultramán Jr.
4) Mike Segura b Dr. Cerebro [hair]
5) Bobby Lee Jr., Jack, Olímpico b Fuerza Guerrera, Oficial 911, Pirata Morgan

2nd hair match loss this year for Dr. Cerebro.

Rudos did not get along in the tercera. Women’s match may have set up a hair/mask match. Would La Diabolica lose her mask in Arena Naucalpan? If she doesn’t, has this all been a waste of time? It is IWRG.

Box Y Lucha interviews Jaguar Jr. & Sexto Sentido Jr.. R de Rudo has an interview with Tinieblas Jr.. His comments about CMLL are more of a “if they called, I’d sure listen” sort of thing, not that a deal has been done.

In addition to their 11/19 show, DTU says they’ll be running a DTU vs CZW show on 11/28.

Box Y Lucha 2947 has the return of Strong Man.

2009 AAA TV Chart
Projected Air Date (#913)
Mexico: 11/22
US: 11/05

Again, they tape this on Wednesday, and would have to air it on Sunday. This is not some impossible task – many television shows are actually broadcast live, I’ve heard! – but it’s not something they normally do.

Not that I’ve got a good feel for what AAA is doing here. No foreign women on this show (maybe because it’s Wed/Fri?) Air Force in action, but against some randomly appearing Exoticos. No sign of Fabi on either show, but that tag match on both. Unusual.

More interesting is the sides for the semimain and main. With Mesias and Wagner on for GdT, it’s very odd to see they’ve stopped fighting each other. The WagnerManaics are busy with the Legion instead, and Mesias is just getting the left over rudos. Maybe they’re just setting up Mesias to get some wins before the big match?

Maybe it doesn’t mean anything, but the referees this show are listed as Piero, Tropicasas, and “Fernando Landa”. Is Hijo de Tirantes not allowed to use that name any more?
