10/17-18 Lucha Times

If you’re reading this on Facebook, HELLO. Someone’s ripping of my RSS feed. It’s kinda lame! You should unfriend this person! Let’s all hit the Report Page link and see what happens!

Also, the other guy who’s posting these on a newsboard without even giving me a link, please correct yourself before I remember what site it is I’m talking about.

box. I’m not sure if you can tell, but I’m still sick. And bored with it.

I wasn’t going to put Perros del Mal on the chart, because I have no idea what to do with it. I figured I don’t know what to do with most of this anyway, and I still guess. Here’s what we know: Perros del Mal says they’re on 4TV at 9 pm on Saturday. No one else has said that. That’s about it. We don’t even know how long the show is!

AAA-US: If I’ve got this right, it’s the AAA Heavyweight Title, the AAA Cruiserweight Title, and the end of Groon XXX in AAA. Also, the new AAA production. I think I’m not going to get done watching this past week’s AAA yet so I don’t have to have an opinion on this yes.

52MX: Panther/Shocker/Strong MAN vs Guerreros/Niebla plus exciting Leono action

CMLL: starts at 4, only 45 minutes. Thought they might skip the hair match anyway, and that gives them the oppurtinty. Maybe just the lightihg match and the Mistico trios.

FOX-CMLL: Pesta Negra/Sangre vs Mascara/Mascara/Sagrada, plus minis

FOX-AAA: nothing this weekend, which saves them effort of the (required?) rerun. If they’re showing a new one every other week, that makes the last show from the first taping airs next week, and they’ve got to actually tape a new show soon.

AAA was advertising tapings for 10/23 (DF) and 10/30 (Veracruz? mind is blanking, so I may have screwed a date too) this past week on their TV in addition the two they’ve already announced. That’d put them very far ahead on tapings. I’m betting the 10/23 show is either a spot show with extra promotion, or the next Lucha Libre Premiere taping. There’s no Ticketmaster listing, or anything on AAA.com about it yet, but I suppose we’ll find out soon.

C3: Blanca vs Apache and other stuff. Has Escorpion’s already made TV more in CMLL than AAA?

Perros: Ok, if I’m running this show, Perro Junior and the main event has to air on the first show, has to air. But then what do you do with the other match? One of the opening card matches (which might not grab people) or one of the other top 3 matches (which doesn’t leave you much for week 2)? Or are their multiple matches? Or are their a week 2? 48 hours out, and we don’t know.

One thing I don’t know – does 4TV have a web feed? It’s never come up before.

Puebla: uh…no segunda. Which leave locals, minis, cibernetico, Strong Man/Mistico/Sombra

Monterrey: I am never right.

  1. Only 45 minutes? Bah. That’s really lame. If anyone in CMLL knew they had television they’d be pissed. I’m betting top 2 air and Volador/Averno get screwed.

I have the feeling minis won’t air from Puebla. Would be a good week to skip the locals for once though…

  2. i know for sure the perros tv will hit youtube after it airs on tv.so it wont be a problem.i wondering how many matches will they air on their tv debut.im guessing they will show all their matches from their first show and spilt them into 2 parts

  3. CMLL d*cked around on Galavision 9 again. They really should try to get on 4. Galavision is soccer central.

  4. Fox AAA aired on Tuesday and last night. Both shows were the third episode. I’m not sure it actually ran last weekend, and since I don’t remember there being replays in the past, my guess is that these were last weekends show and next weekends show. I haven’t actually gotten around to watching the show yet, but it looks like Jack Evans is ahead in points at this time. Really the most interesting thing about the show at this point is wondering if they will remember to do a taping before they run out of episodes. If so, I think we should all take a moment to recognize AAA: the promotion who has a TV show that tapes so infrequently they can have one of the main wrestlers featured on it “leave” the company and return between the first and second set of tapings.
