Who’s the AAA World Mega Champion?

I really don’t want to pick on AAA, but sometimes they make it impossible.

AAA quality control at work!

You know, just to preemptively respond to the inevitable veiled response, I wish AAA was more willing to laugh at their own mistakes, rather than lash out at anyone who might suggest they’re not most well run promotion in the world. No one’s expecting them to be that – no one’s going to express genuine shock over this in the comments, I’m sure – earnestly trying to be better, while humbly acknowledging mistakes, will win us over.

  1. Doesn’t Televisa do the production? Wouldn’t it be their fault? As screw it, that’s Mexico for you.

  2. My wife noticed this when it aired down here. You know how you can tell that you’ve screwed up as a Lucha Libre promotion (or television network)? When my wife knows the names of your workers better than you do.

Maybe they will turn this into another Killer/Murder Clown situation and just announce that the luchador formerly known as Dr. Wagner Jr. has now known as Dr. Warner Jr.

  3. Seriously, I wouldn’t make these mistakes if I was working on the AAA production. Come on guys, hire me for that English language stuff that you want to do. Youtube.com/tromataker, lucha libre for gringos you don’t even have to pay me that much guys…I KNOW YOU’RE READING THIS. I KNOW YOU’RE REALLY KONNAN, ROBERT

  4. How ironic that when countless people(myself included) have made comments bashing AAA/Konnan,& AAA doesn’t say anything on there website. But when Cubsfan notices one mistake AAA made on their supposedly official website, they go ape-shit crazy. I have said in the past, that AAA’s current product is basically a piece of shit it goes unnoticed. But when Cubs’ says one thing that’s not even offensive, they go nuts. That really befuddles me.

  5. That means Cubs is on the radar, man. Which means I totally want to piggyback on his internet success and get on their radar, too. I LOVE YOU AAA AND WOULD NEVER SAY MEAN THINGS

  6. They’ve done stuff like this in the past. They’ve listed La Parka as being Guapo VIP, and one other time they listed La Parka as Antifaz. Those are the only two I’ve noticed, I’m sure there has been more.
