Fabi Apache, Gato Eveready, Mascarita Sagrada 2007, Pimpinela Escarlata vs Billy Boy, Mini Histeria, Polvo de Esterllas, Sexy Star – this is the week where someone decided captains rules needed to be emphasized again. May want to start by making it slightly more clearer (at least on TV) who the captains are. This was good, anyway.
Alan Stone, Crazy Boy, Extreme Tiger vs Rio Bravo, Tigre Cota, Tito Santana II – Poder del Norte was not bad, but they’ve had better nights. The post match angle was kinda weird; you’d figure everyone would be happier to get a title shot than feel miffed about how many other people would be getting it.
Chessman & Teddy Hart vs Jack Evans & Vampiro – a long angle disguised as a match. Turn still feels rushed. Jack being killed twice in two weeks and still finishing this match (and showing no ill effects later) is about normal for AAA beatdowns.
Charly Manson, Rocky Romero, X-Pac vs Escoria, Ozz, Zorro – quite the cane shot by Zorro. I can’t believe that feud didn’t just end at TripleMania.
Alex Koslov, Dr. Wagner Jr., La Parka Jr. vs Electro Shock, Konnan, Silver King – new Cruiserweight champ loses in first match. Shocking! If Konnan’s not writing this, do you think he loses his mind when such WCW-rific stuff goes down?
