Mexico, GDL, Coliseo, IWRG results

CMLL Herdez Del Fuerte (SUN) 07/19 Arena Mexico [Ovaciones]
1) Lady Apache & Marcela b Amapola & Hiroka
2) Pequeño Damián 666 b Mascarita Dorada, Pierrothito, Bam Bam, Shockercito, Pequeño Universo 2000, Pequeño Warrior, Bracito de Oro, Pequeño Violencia, Pequeño Olímpico, Eléctrico, Ultimo Dragoncito [copa Herdez Del Fuerte]
3) Hijo del Fantasma, La Mascara, Maximo b Dragon Rojo Jr., Misterioso II, Sangre Azteca
4) Black Warrior, Felino, Ultimo Guerrero b Blue Panther, La Sombra, Shocker
5) Atlantis, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas b Hector Garza, Mistico, Volador Jr.

This was the special sold show for the food company. Negro snuck in a foul on Garza in the main event. Warrior pinned Shocker with his feet on the ropes. Damain defeated Dorada to take the Cibernetico. Bracito replaced Tzuki, and Pierrothito was DQed for taking Ultimo Dragoncito’s mask.

CMLL (SUN) 07/19 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [MT, thread @ box y lucha, IDOLAZO @ el martiente]
4) Azazel L Metal Blanco, Palacio Negro, Idolo, Virgo, Rey Trueno, Rafaga, Samurai [cage, mask]
5) Texano Jr. & Ultimo Guerrero DQ Blue Panther & Ray Mendoza Jr. [Relevos Increíbles]

Azazel is Luis Eduardo Gonzalez Ramirez, 17 years a wrestler. He’s Bestia Salvaje’s brother. Order of escape was Samurai, Virgo, Rafaga, Idolo, Metal Blanco, and Rey Trueno. Palacio Negro got Azazel with a campana for the win. They may have flipped the top two matches around.

Teams fell apart in the main event, of course. UG ended up tossing his mask to Villano 5, who got caught with it for the DQ. Sounds like those two may meet in a title match next week.

CMLL (SUN) 07/19 Arena Coliseo [ESTO, Reforma]
1) Artillero & Super Comando vs Rayo Tapatio I & Rayo Tapatio II
2) Bronco, Inquisidor, Polvora vs Horus, Metalico, Tigre Blanco
3) La Nazi, La Seductora, Princesa Blanca vs Estrella Magica, Lluvia, Sahori
4) Heavy Metal, Hijo del Lizmark, Sangre Azteca b Mascara Dorada, Mictlan, Valiente
5) Atlantis, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas b Hector Garza, Mistico, Toscano

Everyone seems to agree that Negro pretty much owned Mistico for the whole match. Negro snuck in a foul in the third fall, but even that’s not treated like a big deal. Mictlan got stretchered out of his match.

IWRG (SUN) 07/19 Arena Naucalpan [Al Filo del Ring]
5) Avisman b Trauma II [IWRG IC Light, #1 Contenders]
6) Angelico, Oficial 911, Ricky Cruzz DQ Hijo de Mascara Ano 2000, Hijo del Cien Caras, Mascara Ano 2000 Jr.

Link has video of Avisman/Trauma.

Preview of the AAA movie reveals a character called the brother of La Parka. They have to be debuting someone with that gimmick (not Super Parka) around the time the movie comes out.

Box Y Lucha 2931 previews the big cage match. Why did Okumura stand in the picture? They also have this week’s TV show. There’s also a bonus interview with Dr. Wagner Jr. (or maybe it’s the one from last week’s cover story?)

  1. Just came to the conclusion that La Parka needs a title shot! ALso got TNA’s Victory Road PPV and it reminded me how much it sucks! Good thing I have work and can afford 35 bucks to watch it in HD!

  2. I think the Parka’s brother character would be a kid seen in the trailer, and therefore, not a wrestler (although it would be the right time to bring a mascot)

Pretty weird no results from Benito Juarez have showed up.

  3. Yeah, I want to read the results from Juarez this past Saturday! Oh wait, Anglefan3 couldn’t make it to the show!

  4. anglefan3(aka alberta) por que no fuiste al pay per view! it did not suck like you said it did!

  5. Damn, IWRG started at 4:00 today instead of 5:30, so I missed the first hour of Rey del Ring. Now I get all of the disappointment of Ricky Cruz winning without getting to enjoy the entire match. Can’t find any replays in the guide this week either.

  6. @xuisaw: AAA.com has last night’s results finally. Kinda disapointing to see who won the main event to earn a title shot but I guess they are going to trade wins to make everyone happy.

Did they say when the next AAA TV tapings are during Noti AAA? Seems like they still have at least one more week to tape (to air on Aug. 9th) and then Verano is on the 14th so they can air it on a two-day delay or they can tape another show to air on the 16th and save Verano for two parts to end the month of August.

  7. They said it was going to be taped for TV but it never aired so who knows this year. If it is for TV the website should probably have the lineup today or tomorrow.

  8. @Rob: I think they said it was being taped yesterday. They also gave the top two matches but I wasn’t paying close enough attention until it was too late.
