I’d like to say something positive about this show, but they aired an interview with the winner Cruiserweight tournament before showing even the semifinals (and showed clips from the final before that), so this show was dead to me about 30 minutes in. If we throw out the all-interview show,s that’s back to back outrageously dumbly produced shows.
Billy Boy, Decnnis, El Brazo vs Argenis, Gato Eveready, Pimpinela Escarlata – MOTN, easy. The parts with the ex-Barrio Boys were really good, the other parts I wasn’t as high on
Alan Stone vs Laredo Kid [AAA CRUISER, semifinal] – wish they would’ve given these guys some time somewhere in this tournament
Alex Koslov vs Nicho el Millionario [AAA CRUISER, semifinal] – Nicho’s kinda dumb for being distracted by Marco just existing
Extreme Tiger vs Jack Evans [AAA CRUISER, semifinal] – the turn still felt kinda rushed
Dr. Wagner Jr., La Parka Jr., Super Fly vs Cuervo, Escoria, Ozz – exhibition for the tecnicos, of course.
Chessman, Electro Shock, Kenzo Suzuki vs Latin Lover, Marco Corleone, Mesias – too much focus on the cliffhanger of the ending, not enough to let us know what was going on. Everyone’s reactions were great.
