Puebla: Mephisto vs Mistico. Definitely airing the semimain, since they’re apparently doing a UG/Garza title match. I’m guessing no Fabian/Metro tag team.

@Rob: Fabian/Leono/Mictlan would be worse in my opinion, but it is close.

How about on the rudo side? (NOBODY MENTION VANGELLYS!)
I’m thinking Lizmark Jr., Heavy Metal and … Ray Mendoza Jr.?
(Cubs would probably pick Bronco but I’m not too down on Bronco…)
@Rob: I was actually trying to think of the rudo trio to go against them in the worst trios match. Metal seems like a lock for the number one draft pick on the team. Lizmark is also solid. I don’t like to consider Mendoza part of the roster, but if we eliminate him, I don’t know who would be the third. Maybe Polvora?

I like Polvora.:( Not in a “he’s my favorite rudo” type way but I’m not offended when I see him in the ring like Metal or Lizmark’s embarassing child.
You know there are actually certain folk who would probably be in shock to hear people agreeing on Heavy Metal being the worst rudo in CMLL as they consider him the BEST. Those people still watch wrestling with their 1989 glasses though.:)
Apocalipsis doesn’t make TV enough but from what I’ve seen he’d be a good candidate for the worst rudo team and even he isn’t totally offensive.
Dr. X doesn’t do much for me but I wouldn’t put him on the team.
Nosferatu should be on the team if you just consider who is under the mask but he manages to defy all logic by being good ever since he took on the gimmick.
So I guess we’re stuck at Lizmark Jr., Heavy Metal and… maybe we should just wait till CMLL brings back Mascara Ano 2000.
@Rob: I’m not actually hugely against Polvora, but was struggling to come up with a third. I’ve been enjoying Inquisidor more recently and refuse to put anyone with that mask on this team. Apocalipsis and Bronco I just haven’t seen enough of to think they are bad enough to be here. Dr. X can’t be considered since he is a Tuareg. Since you eliminated Vangelis from consideration, I guess we’ll have to go with Mendoza for the time being even if I live in hope that he won’t keep showing up on cards.

TheCatchChannel shows that the tercera and semi-main from last Sunday’s Arena Mex show aired on 52MX.
If we combine that with Alan’s news about FSE it would seem like the 7/10 Friday Arena Mexico tercera w/ Dorada & Valiente will be the first match to air on the 8/1 TV show that won’t be showing Infierno En El Ring.
