DTU ARENA. After Bihari’s DTU YouTube video, very disappointed Dinastia was not on this show after all. By the end of that main event, Shiima Xion was very familiar with the light tubes of Tulancingo, Mexico.

Negro blatantly fouled Hector for the DQ. Cesar confidently says this means Negro will be the ten man in the cage, and I had no idea we had 9 others. Let’s see if I can work this out

Would seem to be someone without a mask, to fit with the rest. Or Mistico, Mistico always works.

What’s kinda more interesting to me is that finish in the main event, many sentences ago, doesn’t seem to build up UG/Shocker in a title match for next week. So perhaps Sunday/Arena Coliseo is not getting it’s monthly big match.

I keep forgetting to mention the “Vampiro hurt his back, badly, outside of wrestling” news from the WrestlingObserver. Haven’t heard anything more about it.

AAA doesn’t have full results as I type this, but they do mention Sugi (El Blazer) debuted on tonight’s show.

SuperLuchas #322 has Misterio and Dark Angel on the cover. In the interview inside, Sarita says she’ll continue working for CMLL and be based out of Mexico City as she works with TNA.

DTU notes Violento Jack won finished second in the tournament to be a new AAA star on a futbol show I do not watch. This would be more interesting if AAA acknowledged this bit since the first week they started.

AAA does mention that the July edition of Dos de Tres goes on sale Monday

Cesar opines CMLL could probably draw 10,000+ if they brought people back in, but they’re better continuing to build from within in the long term.

  1. It’s probably better if Dinastia was still in Japan where he’ll actually learn to be a better wrestler.

    Mistico works as the 10th but if they’re sticking with unmasked dudes I guess Panther could defend his hair for the first time.

    You know I didn’t know this until my buddy told me but he says Yujiro began his career with a shaved head so that might be a clue as to who is losing.

    Didn’t Violento Jack lose the tournament final to some guy possibly named Gabo Boy? Either way it probably doesn’t matter since AAA ignored the tournament that has been going on for AT LEAST two months now on some TV show.

    Rey Del Ring! One of my favorite matches of the year! I’ll pick #23 or #25 with #12 as an outside longshot. In all seriousness Megatronic sounds like a good pick if they plan on giving him a superpush.

    Have we ever figured out the logic behind IWRG promoting shows with surprise main events? “Hey fans, come see our show and hope that we book an actual star in the main event for your hard earned money!”

    Good to see Angel De Plata back in action. They had promos on the TV show this Saturday for that GDL cage match using pictures from FuegoDelRing.

    Speaking of GDL… no word on whether Mistico lost one of his belts? It would be nice to know so we can possibly figure out what is happening in Puebla tomorrow.

  2. Does anyone who what aired on Puebla TV tonight ? I think CMLL will be calling either Yujiro or Naito ” EL Japones Pelon” vey soon. As for Rey del Ring, I think the 2009 Rey del Ring will be ………. TRAUMA II !!

  5. Gabo Boy did win the tournament. The DTU blog says “we congratulate Violento Jack for being the second finalist” (fancy word for loser).

  6. Glad to read news about Dark Angel. I’m not surprised the women rudas beat the technicas, they are almost all rookies (tecnicas).
