Order of escape was Freelance, Bushi. Avisman took out Suicida, but it took him three tries to climb out of the cage. Judas el Traidor, filling in for Captian Muerte, destroyed Rigo to set up their singles match next week.

Did full results for Thursday ever turn up? I don’t have them and I don’t see them on KrisZ’s posts.

Felino got Mistico clean with a big powerbomb for the win, to set up the title match for next Sunday. (Maybe.)

AAA’s deal with Cookie Jar turned up in the US media press today, with tiny bits of new information. Variety says AAA will be the first show under Cookie Jar’s primetime label, “the Jar”, so someone figured out AAA is different from the other Cookie Jar properties (and quite likely the whole digression about AAA changing their product was off base.) the Hollywood Reporter mentions a new live (US) tour next year, which we could’ve guessed, but I think this is the first we’ve heard for sure.

Police are questioning two women about the deaths of La Parkita & Espectrito II, though these are two women who know the women who killed them and not the killers themselves. There’s also scary looking photos of the women. Working minis matches on indy shows does not give you big payoffs, obviously.

Mistico continues doing interviews. This time, his beef is the poor quality of rings outside Mexico City. Promoters want them to give an Arena Mexico-level show, but it’s impossible for Mistico in rings with clothes-string ropes and the corners are made of plastic. Mistico says Zacatecas’ ring was like last week; Lucha Libre y Box En Zacatecas has video of this show. Mistico would like face Negro Casas, Felino, or Averno in apuesta match for the anniversary show.

Mesias will miss the 07/17 AAA taping to work IWA’s anniversary show, but be back in time for the 07/19 show.

AAA writes about the Foreign Legion falling apart, noting Jack, Zorro and Silver King have left of late. As strange as it considering the storyline, I didn’t know Zorro was officially out of the Legion. The point of the article is more wonder if the mystery partner teaming with Kenzo and Oriental on the 12th is a new recruit to the Legion, or a new all Asian trio. Xion is Filipino, Blazer is Japanese, I’m…probably not teaming with Kenzo & Oriental this weekend, sorry to spoil it.

Ovaciones notes there are 8 shows in Arena Mexico in the next 15 days.. That’s 3 Tuesday shows, 2 Friday shows, 1 MMA show this Saturday, the fan appreciation show on this Sunday, and a “private card” next Sunday which has Mistico on top. Perhaps another FRAM show?

Tonight’s show is a fan appreciation show, setting up a title match next week. That link also has more details on the CMLL lottery. You can buy one of the five million tickets at the CMLL shows until July 26. Winner will win 30 million pesos. That seems high, I can’t be reading that right.

The promoter of the legends show at the Lucha Libre Expo talked about it to MedioTiempo, hyping it around the first appearance of Mil Mascaras as the show. You’ve never seen Mil until you’ve seen him in an exhibition hall. The Oro listed on the program is Oro II. That makes sense, but I still wonder who the Bronce is (since Black Warrior probably has other things to do.) They’re trying to bring in Dos Caras Jr. for an autograph session, but he may be busy.

WagnerMania has photos of the Luchas 2000 Arena Coliseo show

TodoSports (based in Panama) has two articles about Panama’s RXW latest show, including one on Konnan’s appearance. There was another article on Kevin Thorn’s appearance the other day, but I didn’t think to run it because it was Kevin Thorn. They seem to be running a WWE style promotion (their TV is mentioned as airing) and are bringing not just random US stars, but wrestlers from Ecuador, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.

DTU talks to Shiima Xion & Xtreme Tiger about their show.

I didn’t get to it last night, but Ras de Lona says it has an interview with Pierroth and talks to Negro Casas about Mistico.

Luchas 200 477 has the Wagners and the mini funeral on the cover. Inside, there’s an article with Pierroth, which probably shares a bit with the Ras de Lona feature.

Segunda Caida recaps IWRG 06/18/09.

Wrestling Observer has an this week’s AAA recap.

LuchaWorld has Robert on Cadena3 05/03/08 and AAA TV 05/02/08, as well as KrisZ’s news update
