El Brazo refed the opener, helping the rudos. Yuriko flirted with Gato. Octagoncito had Mini Abismo beat, Brazo stopped counting, Octagoncito argued and got pinned.
Alex got Scoria with the Red Scare for the win in the second match.
Elegido had Decnnis beat, but Brazo returned to distract the ref, allowing Guapito to foul Elegido.
AAA says Shiima looked good, but it sounds as though he still ended up losing to Extreme Tiger.
Wagner & Silver King got along – enough so that we’re supposed to wonder if they’ll still fight at the show – but Cibernetico beat Silver King for the win.
Next taping is Friday in Queretaro. AAA’s added pages for the announced tapings this month, and lists the Lucha Libre Expo show as a taping. They do not list the 07/12 Tepapulco taping, which makes me wonder if it’s gone in the same black hole as the Acapulco show.
This license deal with Cookie Jar is a pretty big deal if it goes anywhere. Sounds like Cookie Jar is prepared to unleash several different types of product targeted though mostly at children, as that is their forte. They have the power to get the product in major stores including Wal-Mart.

You guys are actually underselling the weirdness here. a post on this will have to wait until later, but check out Cookie Jar website – http://www.cookiejarentertainment.com – or the wikipedia entry – they manage Strawberry Shortcake and Arthur and other shows a K-3rd grade kid might watch on PBS after school. On the barest level – ‘market lucha libre to kids!’ – this makes sense, but it’s not the most logical company to do it.

@Brewdiggity: Lucha de Vuelta used to be an older episode of the show, but that was years ago. Now it’s just the same show as Saturday under a slightly different name.
