AAA #887 (05/30)

taped 04/02/09, aired 05/30/09

This was weird. Obviously, they taped the inbetween promos and wouldn’t do that unless they planned on airing. Every other way the show aired, it didn’t seem like they planned on taping it. Maybe next time they tour the US, they might want to bring someone decent lighting, and perhaps some microphones for the ring so they don’t dub in the same kick/slap noise for every contact on the show. Ridiculously minor league.

On the other hand, I think they did a good job with the big angle for TripleMania. Having this format for the show allowed them to explain things better than it would’ve gone down on TV.

Fabi Apache, Octagoncito, Pimpinela Escarlata vs Decnnis, Mari Apache, Mini Abismo Negro – probably the best match? Decnnis is more interesting as a solo act.
Crazy Boy & Super Fly vs Jack Evans & Teddy Hart – turn taking! Kinda needed to explain the Sagrada bit, not surprised they didn’t.
La Parka Jr. ©, Marco Corleone, Vampiro vs Killer Clown, Psycho Clown ©, Zombie Clown – surprised about how clean this was in the end
Charly Manson & Cibernetico vs Joe Lider & Electroshock – I almost felt pity for sad Cibernetico and then he made Charly wrestle the whole match.
Mesias vs Ozz kick punch kick punch stomp chinlock kick punch punch punch

  1. I was bored watching this show. I thought the arena looked too day, I’m assuming that there weren’t enough fans to light the arena up. IMO, nothing on the show flowed, it just seemed like it was there. Bad show.

  2. In my opinion the whole show sucked!Nothing agaisn’t anybody but it just looked way too cheap and minor league.I mean i HATED The punch and kick sounds they dubbed in,all the matches were EDITED and i hate that because it takes away from the action, and overall AAA prodcution people suck! And Ozz vs Mesias reminded of me of a WWE style match which upsets me because i watch AAA which is Lucha Libre and know that’s hardly what the produce(minus the Fuerza Aeria people or the minis)

  3. And BTW did anybody hear any pops for anyone during the show? When luchadores came i didn’t hear no reaction for anybody NOT EVEN A PIN DROP i’m
sure they edited that too.WOW Cibernetico sucks!!!Can’t
even lock a proper submission or throw a Clothesline.

  4. I think all the crowd/ring sounds were actually from the upcoming AAA video game. lol.

  5. Mesias is progressively bigger each and every week. I’ve scarcely seen someone roiding so much so fast.

  6. John, OMG I totally agree! Mesias is getting more jacked by the week, and these shows are several weeks behind the Mexican shows. I’m shocked how much his body has changed over the last year or so.

  7. Oh and it looks like Jack Evans maybe getting a bit bigger and jacked as well. (Just My Opinion)

  8. Mesias seems like he toned/defined his body and tans a lot compared to what he looked like early when he first joined AAA. He looks slimmer and more muscular.

Jack Evans is getting bigger too. His body looks like Eddy Guerrero’s from about 1998.
