To conclude a good match, Terry snuck in a foul on Negro for the win.

AAA will be holding a public mass for Abismo Negro on Monday.

(Reforma via Jazzo) Mistico thinks the commission should strip Negro Casas of the CMLL Welterweight title for cheating to beat him (yet again.) It’s not very heroic of Mistico to demand Negro be defeated in an office when he can defeat him in the ring.

(Reforma via Jazzo) Perro Aguayo Jr. thinks Cibernetico’s break up with him is actually his way to leave the promotion and go back to AAA. (Probably not.)

Cesar rates Trueno, Messala/Caligula, Toscano and Fabian el Gitano.

Kcidis has his Kids’ day Cartoon for Fuego en le Ring’s magazine.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update, and Robert on 06/24 and 07/08/07 and Cadena3 on 12/29/07.

  1. The entire ArMex card really should air someplace. Every match is worth of tv. I bet Puma and Tiger will be challenging for the Coliseo tag title by the end of the year.

  2. I’m going to tonight’s show, so I’ll try to post results when I get back. We’re sitting fifth row, facing the ramp, so if Dragoncito does an extra insane dive tonight we will have to catch him.

  3. who just deleted tens of hours of wrestler/promo info? THIS GUY.

    c’mom backup, please don’t suck

  4. @Alan: The opener is going to be AWESOME! And if it somehow fails (unlikely) – the mini’s are going to RULE! If we don’t hear from you post-show we’ll just assume Dragoncito claimed another victim.:(

    @thecubsfan: Everything good?

  5. Good show tonight, but I think I was hoping for more from this card. We were also at a weird angle sitting five rows back but off the corner next to the announcers. Not bad seats by any means, but made some parts of the ring difficult to focus on. Bottome section was relatively full (75-80% I’d say), but remainder of the building was pretty empty. I suspect the show will come off well on tv.

    1) Angel Azteca Jr. & Sombra de Plata beat Puma King & Tiger Kid. I was a little surprised by this outcome, but I’m not sure why. Puma and Tiger were great, and Azteca and Sombra de Plata definitely held their own. One of the Casas kids was rocking a spectacular shirt with their faces on the front and “Felinos Negro” on the back. I’ll definitely be picking one of these up as soon as someone starts selling them. Tecnicos take the first, rudos in the second and tecnicos in the third.
    2) Bam Bam, Mascarita Dorada, Ultimo Dragoncito beat Pequeño Violencia, Pequeño Warrior, Pierrothito. Good match, but not the best any of these guys have put on lately. I survived another Dragoncito dive, but he did go two rows deep on the rudo side of the ring, resulting in Pierrothito being stretchered out at the end of the match. Didn’t look too serious, and I think was likely selling the move. Dorada got the win on the final fall, but everyone was focused on the attempt to recover Dragoncito from the crowd and the people checkingon Pierrothito to notice.
    3) Hiroka beat Dark Angel-Would Dark Angel be losing this match if she wasn’t leaving? Hiroka wins with a Michinoku Driver. Entertaining match and given a decent amount of time for a lightning bout.
    4) Mascara Dorada, Metro, Valiente beat Shigeo Okumura, Skandalo, Virus-pretty quick two fall match. I don’t think Dorada screwed up any moves all the way through. Metro thunder sticks were handed out at the beginning of the night, but everyone had forgotten about them by the time this match happened. Virus fouled Valiente for the DQ in the second fall. Okumura was accompanied to the ring by woman. Maybe his wife?
    5) Blue Panther, Hijo del Fantasma, La Mascara beat Felino, Mephisto, Negro Casas-Mephisto is in for Heavy Metal here. Not a bad trade from my perspective. Negro is definitely the most cheered rudo on the card at this point. Even with a lot of comedy bits by Felino and Negro, this was probably my favorite match of the night. Nice triple dive by the tecnicos to end the third fall.
    6) Dos Caras Jr., Terrible, Texano Jr. beat Hector Garza, Mistico, Shocker-How do you know Dos is now a rudo? the full body grey and black body paint, that’s how. He is also smiling more and talking to the crowd more. Terrible and Texano were fun as usual, Mistico looked good as always (and he was even mostly cheered tonight). Finish came when Dos pulled Garza’s hair when he had Texano (I think) rolled up, and held Garza down from the outside while he was pinned. While Garza distracted the ref whining about the decision, Dos entered the ring and tossed his mask to Shocker resulting in the tecnicos getting DQ’d.
