Ovaciones says Princesa Blanca retained the women’s title over Marclea last night in Puebla. I believe them on that.

Next Monday in Puebla, la Facultad de Psicologia de la UAP is offering a series of presentations about lucha libre in that town, as part of the 55th anniversary celebration of Arena Puebla. The events include a Santo movie, photos by Alexis Salazar (complimented in the article), a panel discussion and the weekly show. The people organizing this function have been working at putting together a history of wrestling in Puebla.

It’s IWRG review day: Robert watches the 08/11/07 and the 09/01/07 TV, and Ohtani’s Jacket watches Oficials vs Freelance, Marco Rivera and Veneno from a show in between. KrisZ’s news update is also up.

AAA has a ticket giveaway on their site, as well as articles explaining Vampiro was meant to be in the main event this week but Konnan said no, Crazy Boy hasn’t forgot his issues with Joe Lider and the Air Force back togehter and actually winning. Vampiro’s referred to as the former comissioner in the article up there, so I’m clearly missing an storyline twist, but it would explain why Konnan could ban Vamp from a match now.

This week’s Ras de Lona mentioned Medussa is pregnant (and obviously out of action). Luna Magica is apparently close to delivering her child.

The LA Times points out a hard to find El Santo gallery in Mexico City.

Guerreros del Ring #180 has Dos Caras Sr. on the cover and an interview with K-Tomico of El Martinete inside.

  1. There’s a joke to be made about Luna somehow managing to botch childbirth but I don’t have the heart to make it.

  2. Well, i guess this was the week that LATV decided to show the ras de lona episode from a few weeks back, any chance that they might still show the new episode sometime during the week?
