Previews: ESTO, Ovaciones

Maximo is in for Misterioso, which is an odd fit for the match. Terrible replaces Ephesto according to ESTO. Stuka’s already a replacement for Shocker.

Way too early for a title change. This should be the new champions just getting another big win.

RFC says AAA tapes in ACM on 03/22

WagnerMania has been busy ripping videos: Mil, Dos Sr., Canek and V5 talking about Saturday’s UWE/el Toreo show, Sombra about his recent wins and the main event of the recent Wagner shows.

ESPNDeportes has columns about Indepedent Dr. Wagner (hopefully will not run into Relationship Dr. Wagner) and the UWE 8 Man Cage match on Saturday. By the way, they finally set up an RSS feed for this blog.

One more UWE-related article: SuperLuchas looks back at the 25th Anniversary of Francisco Flores’ promoting career, 25 years ago.

Ohtani’s Jacket looks at Gran Hamada vs Centurion Negro from 1982. I think I missed his Ringo/Atlantis/Ultraman vs Satanico/Masakre/MS-1 post from earlier this week.

CMLL (MON) 02/16 Arena Puebla

5) La Sombra, Shocker, Volador Jr. vs Black Warrior, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas
6) Ultimo Guerrero vs Hector Garza [CMLL HEAVY]

This is a big show, an Arena Mexico lineup basically, just two weeks after the fan appreciation show. I have no idea why or what they’re doing here. I assume Mr. Niebla being advertised means he’s out of the hospital, but one can never be sure.

Hector Garza in El Paso! Hmmm.

  1. @Josh: That’s the impression I had as well, but he managed to make the LuchaVaVoom show last weekend. So either the immigration issue has been quietly resolved or…

  2. Man the internet rules. Not only do we find out the champs retained their belts tonight but somehow it seems a handheld version of the match is already going up on youtube!
