I’m kinda confused on AAA. I actually have a copy of the show that aired in Mexico this week, and I believe they just aired a repeat. I’m pretty sure Chessman/Zorro (and Padrino’s debut) aired two weeks ago, but here it was on again. Or was that episode pre-empted and I forget? See, I’m confused.

AAA-US: whatever the case, the first show from Xapala should air in teh US this week.

52MX: as confirmed by CMLL, the minis cage match airs here. Probably also the 4th match (Ephesto/Terrible/Texano vs Panther/Marco/Shocker), so…

FS-MEX: …this show can get another Infernales/Flash & Stuka match, and the Warrior/Mistico trios match to set up the singles match airing on this show next week.

CMLL: Listed as two hours, but the listings haven’t been that accurate lately. Tag title match is what you’re watching for here.

AAA-MEX: from the last taping of 2008. Maybe the whole taping, since they should have fresh footage next week.

C3: Dos! Looks like they’re airing repeats of this show thru the week now.

  1. Well, i saw some interesting info last night while watching LATV, they showed a commercial hyping CMLL which they just advertised as the best of CMLL, don’t know if that means they are showing matches or maybe old footage, and if u go to the latv website, under programming schedule, they have an 1 hour scheduled at 4pm/7 et on both saturday, and sunday for this week

  2. @Albert: I just went to watch last night’s Ras de Lona (which was not last night’s Ras de Lona, but that’s another story) and saw that same commercial. They don’t specifically say it, but I think that might be the 52MX Guerreros del Ring. (Or, maybe it’s the Fox version?)

Funny thing is, even though you’re absolutely right about it being listed on LATV’s website, it’s not showing up in my TiVo listing for either night. Still can record it anyway.

  3. @thecubsfan: The plot thickens!

The only thing that really confuses me is why did CMLL remove the FSE listing from their TV page? It was up last week and suddenly disapeared when the rumors about the show being cancelled popped up.

Now that I’ve linked it, I see it just got re-added. How odd.

  4. Well, this is the best website for Lucha news in English, so it’s no surprise CMLL execs read this page.

We all knew that leaving Fox Sports in the US would be better for CMLL in the US at some point. They were prisoners of a scumbag programming director, and too much live soccer, on FSE.

  5. I just visited LA TV’s website and here’s the link to the page about lucha libre airing:

    http://www.latv.com/newshows.asp?id=ccluchalibre

Its a 60-minute show and its listed in their “New Shows” section. A Ras de Lona is still listed as well, so its definitely a different show.

On my Dish Network On-Screen TV Guide, Mex to the Max is listed at 4 pm, but at 7 pm, there is paid programming for a full-hour.

  6. FYI, the Wagnermania/Perros show from December in Santa Fe is airing on TVCDeportes tonight. I think it is reairing tomorrow morning as well. Did anyone ever wind up airing the first Perros show?

  7. Fox Sports opened with the Blanca ruda turn and is following it up with Stuka/Euforia lightening match. Main event will be Mistico/Warrior trios from Sunday.

  8. @Alfredo: That’s the problem with living in LA. People like me who watch the national feed of LATV won’t get as many informercials as Ch.57 in LA does, b/c LA is such a valuable market. Let us know what finally airs. No doubt, MVS will end up providing LATV with the Fox version in the US market, as Cubs predicted.

  9. @Alan: As far as I can tell, no one has aired the first Perros show. No one’s updated their website either.
