In the third fall of the main event, Shocker accidentally knocked down the ref. Terrible decided to fake a low blow. Instead of standing there and arguing, Shocker just covered him, and the ref revived to count the win for the tecnicos.
Marcela suffered an injury in the second match – ESTO calls it serious – and was strechered out in the second fall. Tecnicas still managed to win without her, which doesn’t seem like the direction they were headed there. Correction: Rudos won 3 on 2. CMLL.com teases a Princesa Blanca vs Sahori match, which sounds very scary (just as much for Marcela being out.)
Ovaciones says NWE (the European group) will be running it’s first show in Mexico in February. No date or location announced, but the main event is expected to be Juvi vs Perro Jr. for the NWE Cruiserweight Title. Juvi’s been building that match up in the press for a while. It reads as if it’ll be a joint Perro/NWE production based on the names announced (RVD, Dragon, all the Perros, Wagner, Super Crazy, etc.) NWE currently has TV on Mexico’s version of 52MX.
IWRG is running a 20 man cage match next Thursday. Back to back Thursday cage matches for them.

Main event will be Garza’s first match back in Mexico City in a month; he starts up Sunday in Guadalajara.

Hi Cubs, I was at Ar Mex last Friday and Tecnicas lost to Rudas that night, you might want to correct the results. Actually after the match Princesa got annoyed and teased Sahori… Cheers

First off, I can’t believe they are making Mistico work this show after a flight from Japan.
Secondly… Pequeno Reyes Del Aire. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I thought it wouldn’t occur till later in the year after Freelance came in.:P
To be honest… it’s not the strongest lineup one could hope for. It could use less Pequeno Violencia and Mr. Aguilita and more Cosmico and Electrico. They fly… the ruditos don’t. Plus the rudo fivesome is way too much like it was last year.
It’s nice to see Ultimo Dragoncito get thrown into the mix since he missed last year. Obviously it’s at the expense of Tzuki which is fucking bullshit but what can you do?
Obvious winner seems to be Mascarita Dorada but that’s just it… it seems way too obvious. So I’m gonna go with Bam Bam to take it. He didn’t get to win the first (if we’re counting it) and Dorada already won the trophy so he doesn’t need another. Wouldn’t be shocked to see Bam Bam actually pin Dorada for the win. Maybe to setup a title match? How about a double pin to setup a title match? Co-Reyes Del Aire? I like the sound of that! I’ll stick to Bam Bam winning it over Pequeno Damian or Mascarita though.
Third, does anyone feel bad for Fire who could have made some cash by just waiting a few months to drop his mask at Arena Mexico?
Finally, are we considering the 7/13/07 match a Pequeno Reyes Del Aire? Seemed like just a regular Torneo at the time but maybe I’m forgetting something.

Which doesn’t actually sound true. I think this was like a Pequeno Reyes del Aire, but it shouldn’t count because they didn’t use the name.
