There were multiple, colliding big angles. X-Pac opened the show, attempt to introduce D-Generataion-X, only to be interrupted by Konnan. Konnan wanted to know why X-Pac returned and turned on the Legion, a reasonable question, but never got the answer as they both were interrupted by Prez Roldan on the big screen. (Yes, this is WWE RAW.) Roldan wanted to let Konnan he was paying him back for breaking his car’s windows a few weeks by doing the same to Konnan’s. And that was that for the opening segment, but Konnan wasn’t going to let this show end without getting revenge. So, after the main event (where Parka beat Jack with a powerbomb), Konnan stole the urn of Antonio Pena’s ashes and ran away. SoloLuchas confirms this really did happen.
The semimain was listed as an atomicos, but turned into a trios with Espiritu just interfering whenever (a lot like TripleMania, actually.) Rudso won with a distracted ref and a foul.
Stones (“Los Sexy Boys”) beat Hermandad despite chairs, tables and ladders coming into play. After the match, X-Pac came back out to introduce the new member of his group – Grey Shadow! Who unmasked to reveal himself as Rocky Romero.
Pirata Sr. stole Elegido’s mask and rolled him up for the win.
The Billy/Gato/whoever trio hit a snag against the Guapos. Decnnis beat Gato clean.
It didn’t make sense for Mini Abismo to be left out of the minis match, since the only feud is him and Mini Charly. So Mini Abismo replaced Jerrito, but his team still lost when Mini Charly beat Mini Kenzo.
Diario Cambio article says 10,000 people showed up.
Next taping is Queretaro on Friday. Pena Memorial show isn’t until the Friday after, so Konnan may have those ashes for a while.

…I am for the first time ever rendered speechless. Doing something to sell a storyline is one thing, but to take a dead man’s ashes. I can’t even, to quote Konnan, “speak on that”.
I especially like how Konnan is all for pushing new guys but when it comes time to run the big angle – Konnan steals the ashes. What are we setting up here? Konnan vs Roldan? Konnan vs Pena’s sister? Even worse – Vamp steals the ashes back and feuds with Konnan?
this has to be setting up someone new coming in. maybe Romero isnt the big jump and just alittle thing until Shocker really does come. Roldan brings him in against Konnan. it might end up being someone else. you’re right Rob, this really doesnt set up anything. someone else has to be coming in, unless we are going to see Roldan wrestle, someone is turning tecnico or someone else is joining AAA.
Didn’t AAA have a angle a couple months ago about some guy in a black mask attacking Konnan? I wonder if that’s what this is leading to. Somewhere in Las Vegas, The Godfather says “make a necklace out of it”.

thank you for reminding me about that. i forget sometimes how much Konnan loves Vince Russo’s work. i can see Electro Shock or Kenzo wearing the urn necklace to ring. i really cant see any good coming from this urn angle.
So I just watched this show and I love the urn angle for it’s sheer wrestlecrapness. The urn which is supposedly the most sacred thing in the entire world is being guarded by two ladies in their 60’s and some old man. Konnan walks over and steals the urn while Ciber, Parka and Super Fly just look on. Konnan walks away and ROLDAN of all people runs out to save the urn only for Zorro to hit him while once again Ciber, Parka and Super Fly just look on. Roldan -an old man who is not a wrestler – recovers from El Zorro – a wrestler – hitting him and instead of calling security or the entire AAA locker room… he walks over to grab the microphone and yell at Konnan. They argue on the mic for a few minutes during which not a single sole from the back or neither of the top two tecnicos even attempt to go after Konnan and get the urn back.
WRESTLECRAP.
