This is the usual “taped before the major card but airing at the same time so they can’t do much” lineup.

Mystery guy is either the Legion convincing Chessman to team with them to fight Cibernetico or Zorro. Or Konnan, I guess. Chessman has to be involved somewhere here.

I think I would enjoy an Alan Stone/Elegido vs Cuervo/Ozz tag match, depending on Alan’s pose/work ratio. Hopefully Mesias and Vamp can brawl

Including triangle matches, this is the fourth time Extreme Tiger and Halloween have teamed on AAA TV since winning the tag titles in April, including doing the same exact match at the same exact point in the PPV cycle (right before TripleMania), which Jack and Teddy won. Halloween and Extreme Tiger has defended the titles ZERO times on TV. I had to deal with that nonsensical tag team tournament for months for what now?

Can’t Apache or Pirata Morgan or Histeria or Alebrije find another women and train her? Also, what happened to Ayako?

No way AAA posts results of the opener.

You know, it’s 11 days from Verano de Escandalo, shouldn’t we have a full card by now?

    Did Ayako ever work after that spear by Chessman? Maybe she’s injured.

  3. Some fans on SL are also wondering if TVC will remove IWRG and use CMLL Puebla instead. That is my guess at this point.

    The WWE stuff is even more amazing. I can’t see TVC running live WWE without running into problems with live sports down the road. Already, TVC would air their 10pm live sports wrap late just to let RAW go off the air. I also can’t see Televisa running RAW after another network ran it live.

    I can see WWE getting on PPV in Mexico via cable. It would be a few million homes added to WWE’s universe, and more buys for them.

  4. We’ll find out tomorrow if someone reports something about TVC guys not being around at Naucalpan. Wouldn’t WWE be unhappy about its show getting aired on a network that airs other underproduced and rival’s groups shows?

  5. It is quite strange we have no Verano card. My guess is they’re still trying to book the foreigners which is the only hold-up. God forbid they announce the matches with the Mexicans b/c NOBODY cares out those guys. Fucking AAA… (I’m kidding, I love AAA, I hate the people in charge)

    Lots of the matches on this taping have been done already. They should have just booked a totally random tag tournament instead. It’d be different and maybe someone do some creative booking. Imagine Jack/Gallego vs Gato Eveready/Elegido!

    I think it’s great you’d rather see a tag involving ELEGIDO and CUERVO than anything involving Vamp and Mesias.

    so, it should have:

    Ciber vs Chessman for the Megacampeonato
    Vampiro vs Mesias cage no draw garbage match (announced)
    Evans & Hart vs familia vs hermandad vs Mexpows for the tag title
    Apaches vs Morenos for the mixed tag and reyna
    Minis final.

    And who knows if Secta will be defending their title (against who? -Aerostar, Super Fly, El Angel and Gato?) plus one match to put Legion and AAA stars. Doesn’t really seems to have much room for foreigners except in that Legion spot.

  8. Might it be Aero Star/Super Fly vs Jack/Teddy at Verano vs Familia for the tag titles?

    Or the card might go as I suggested and Aerostar and Fly just run in to “get their revenge”. Fabi suggested a trios match with the Morenos for the Reyna and mixed tag titles, but I don’t know if they’ll go for that or run them on separate matches or if they’ll do them at all. Tickets have been on sell for a while, so I guess GDL guys should have the card already (bar a few ?s)

    We’re still shitting on Vamp though, right? Good.

  12. 11 days before Verano? What’s the earliest we’ve ever received a full lineup for a major card in the past year?
