it’s the new hijo del Pierroth. the old one changed his name to something else. there’s only supposed to be one El Hijo del Pierroth now, and of coarse he’s not related to Pierroth from CMLL, but there are only the 3 Pierroth’s now that i know of. Pierroth Jr., Pierroth II, and Hijo del Pierroth. those are the only 3 wrestling as of right now that i’m aware of. there may be sonme local promotions running around with a Pierroth and i believe there’s still a Pierroth mini too.

Lame card. Clowns are kinda stuck in nowheresland, huh? One of the great things about the original Payasos win streak was AAA had about 5 or 6 regular trios teams for them to feud with and they wouldn’t win cleanly the first few times around which meant you could recycle the same teams in multiple matches and it’d still be fresh. These clowns have no competition except the Hell Brothers now and obviously AAA has no plans to make that a top program heading into Triplemania.
There’s also a weird show at Arena Mexico on May 14th it seems. It’s being put on by ‘La Record’ using CMLL talent with the catch being $10,000 is on the line. There will be a ‘jury’ at ringside watching the matches and after every match they will vote on which team was most impressive and it doesn’t neccessarily have to be the winners. At the end of the night all five winning teams will come out and whichever team the judges pick gets to win the big money prize. Is anyone as confused as I am? Card is at least decent looking:

This sounds like the same deal CMLL did for the legends return Teleton show, except it’s “judges” instead “votes from the fans”. Which makes it easier to fix if all the undercarders take off for other shows after their matches, like what happened with the Teleton show.
