Abismo vs Niebla was sketchy in parts. Actually, the whole show was sketchy in parts because they had 4 hours of show cut down to 3 hours and didn’t do the cleanest of job editing things. But the singles match felt less like building to a big finish and more like typical AAA getting in the spots they wanted to do.
Zorro is much better as a rudo. It’s funny that he didn’t seem to have a personality till they put a mask on him, and now is a lot more entertaining playing the complete opposite of what he’s been for year. My newest hindsight booking for the last three months of 2007 is Kenzo should’ve been in Zorro’s role, in the title match, and Zorro should’ve been protected the whole time. He’s much funnier now, but there’s no way I believe he’s going to win when it matters.
Billy Boy is a dope. A DOPE.
thecubsfan, Zorro is one of the biggest panzies now that he’s a heel. But you think he’s better now. Ok.
He is better. His promos are better, and I think he’s developing into a solid main event heel. He couldn’t do the pretty boy gimmick forever, so this was a good move.
If they can get to Ciber/Zorro hair vs. hair, it could be one of the biggest stip matches in years, and would be a reason for AAA to do a PPV.
Yeah, Billy Boy is the worst. That vignette of him following Faby to the car wash was pathetic. Total feminization of Billy Boy on tv.
luchalibrelive! you say he couldn’t do the pretty boy thing forever, but the point is that as a heel he still is a pretty boy the only difference is that before he was a tough pretty boy, and now he’s a girly pretty boy despite being a bad guy. He was manlier as a good guy, so yes he could have done that forever, and nobody would pay money to see Zorro vs Ciber.

Zorro is wearling long-sleaved shirts, and appears to have the beginnings of a potbelly. That’s not a pretty boy to me. Zorro can’t compete with the guys with six-pack abs and pecs like Elegido, Alan Stone, and Intocable.
Whether or not anybody would pay money for Zorro vs. Ciber remains to be seen. I may be unrealistic when I hope for good things from Zorro at the box office.
Sara Stock if filling out nice. Amampola and Marcella are plumpy in a sexy way too. Heck, Sara now wears long-sleaved shirts all the time.
Valiente could very well be the most spectacular worker in Mexico at the moment.
I like Zorro now. At first I was down on his rudo turn but he’s turned out nicely. I could give a shit about how he looks physically though. I’ll leave that to you guys.

Zorro always wore shirts to the ring even as a technico. There were only a few occasions where he was shirtless, so your argument of how he’s no longer a pretty boy compared to his technico days hold no water.

I don’t know if Konnan killed the Apache stuff. I don’t think he cares about it. When the Apache stuff was good, we all theorized that it was good because Konnan didn’t book that stuff. But now that it’s not as good, we want to blame him.
Yes. The women are filling out nice in CMLL. Sara is covering everything since the bodybuilding show. Amapola and Marcela look good these days. I guess they got jealous of Faby and Estellita.
I watch AAA every week. I was the one who said a Zorro turn is what was needed, when Robert disagreed saying, “Keith, Zorro is not turning, Vince Russo is not booking AAA”.
Zorro was a face for years. And he never really became a draw or someone who you could say was one of the top babyfaces in the company. But I think he’s one of the top rudos right now. So it’s best for everyone that he continue with his rudo push.

luchalibrelive! I didn’t realize Fabi was concerned about her weight. While we’re on this subject I’ll add that I don’t buy into all this BS about how a woman has to be petit and ultra lean to be attractive. That’s a big crock. AAA women are awesome, especially Tiffany.
Speaking of Tiffany I wouldn’t be surprised if Elegido is the daddy. There were two occasions in 2006 were he interfered in her match by planting a kiss on her in order to diestract her.
When will Tiffany make her return? Seems like it’s been more than a year since she left on maternity leave.
