Leono replaced Shocker. Shocker was booked in three places on the same day, but people he was scheduled to work with made this show (except Texano Jr., who was replaced by Satanico.) If they’re going to push Leono, they might as well put him in the main event at some point. Tecnicos won in straight falls, winning the first clean and UG decided just to foul Corelone on Sunday.

Note that Rocky Romero works Friday and Saturday on ROH, but there’s no Sunday show. That’s not going to be fun travel. Romero has a tag title match on Saturday, so he could always drop the belt there if he was about to work in Mexico full time. At any rate, that match should make one of the GdR shows.

Super Fly will be chatting at Box y Lucha on Tuesday while I’m at work. But they always put their chats on YouTube so that’s good.
I find it interesting that after the results were posted on ByL, I made a joke about Leono being considered a main eventer while Valiente and Felino worked underneath him. The interesting thing is people seem to agree. People who are just average fans that accept whatever CMLL does and yet even they can see what a joke Leono is. So it isn’t just a smarky thing to hate Leono and his anti-charisma.
