Outside the ring: Terrible's a big horror movie fan.

Match 1: Pequeno Halloween (c), Pequeno Damian 666, Pequeno Mr. Aguila vs Fantasy, Shockercito, Bam Bam (c)
Arena Coliseo, 07/01/07

  1. rudos
  2. tecnicos
  3. tecnicos

Winner: Tecnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 7:53
Approx Rating: Fun. Could've been better, could've had a better finish, but was good to see.
Other Match Notes: No entrances, though everyone gets introduced. Bam Bam has his right shoulder taped.

1: Shockercito and Mini Halloween start on the mat with a leverage spot, Halloween rolls thru a sorta-sunset flip to hit the dropkick. Lockup, no, Halloween jabs Shocker into the ribs and tosses him. Lockup, no, Halloween does it again. Halloween is happy about . Again, another hiptoss. Shockercito might want to come up with a splash.  Halloween tries it for a fourth time, but Shockercito blocks it and tosses Halloween again. Another hiptoss, and out goes Halloween. Shockercito is posing and doesn't see Halloween escape the ring, but chases him around and back in. Bodyscissors armdrags sends Halloween out, and Mini Halloween does the fake dive handspring. Mini Damian cuts off Bam Bam with a back elbow to start their exchange. Whip, reversed, and Bam bam gets in a armdrags. Off the ropes, over, and Bam jumps into a hiptoss. Damian stomps and kicks Bam Bam while he's on the mat. He's all fired up, as the FdT usually is. Mini Damian's punch is caught into an armdrag, but Damián jumps back up and gets an armdrag of his own. Mini Damián and Bam Bam having words and shoving. Bam Bam slaps Damián, Damian garbs him b the hair, and pulls him done to forearm him in the back of the neck. Refs break up the hair pull, which allows Bam Bam to yank Damian's hair and give him the same treatment. This time, it's the rudos who break it up, kicking Mini Damián now. Shockercito and Fantasy come in, and we have a standoff. Shockercito is Tzuki sized, much smaller than the other guys. Rudos charge with clotheslines, and only the one on Shockercito works. Rudos with stereo running boots, tecnicos bounce off the ropes and come back. Bam Bam and Fantasy get bodyscissors, but Damián and Aguila turn them into face first powerbomb. Shockercito gets tossed and kicked in the back. Rudos tie the tecnicos up so Shockercito's legs are in Indian deathlocks for the other two guys, Mini Damian puts a dragon sleeper on Shockercito, and Halloween and Aguila put crossfaces on the other two. That's pretty cool.

2: Beatdown continues. Fantasy takes the face first powerbomb/double knee gutbuster combo, and Aguila quebradas all that. I think the big versions stole that from them. Double suplex for Fantasy too. Bam Bam gets worked over with chest slaps. Double suplex for Bam Bam - no, Fantasy pushes it over, turning it into a double DDT for Bam Bam! Bam Bam tries to monkey flip Fantasy into Damian, but Damián sees it coming and moves. Bam Bam tries charging himself, but Damian waves him by, and he collides into Fantasy. Shockercito tries charging, but Damian cuts him off with a big boot. Damian holds Shockercito from sneaking out as Halloween and Aguila dropkick the other two out. Stereo topes! Damian batters Shockercito out of the ring with a punch, and tells his partner to hold him. Off the ropes, tope con giro - gets his partners. Fantasy shoved Shockercito out of the way in time, I think. Shockercito comes back in, Damian after him, Shockercito off the ropes, Mini Damian tosses him behind, Shockercito gets the reverse bodyscissors - ooooooh no he didn't. He couldn't get his legs hooked around Damian. Didn't get hurt or anything, but things were going great. Mini Damián looks at him, then drops an elbow. Shockercito is up first and forearming him. Swinging fisherman's suplex! If that was a normal one, and Shockercito lifted a man twice his size over, I would've given this five hundred stars.

El Diseno De: Stuka Jr. I love the music for this. It's totally Mission Impossible-rific. This mask may explode in 5 seconds.

3: Rudos in no hurry to start. Aguila gets elected, and Fantasy immediately flips off his chest. Off the ropes, twisting headscissors by Fantasy. Aguila missing the jumping spin kick. Fantasy catches a punch into a wristlock, chest slaps Mini Aguila, and does a  springboard rope flip armdrag. Halloween comes in, his kick gets caught, but his other foot connects. Halloween sends Fantasy out after a rebound headscissors, but Shockercito comes in with a tope rope headscissors for him. Shockercito does a sorta handspring armdrag too. Damian in, and Damian immediately takes a headscissors. Rudos keep stopping right in front of the ropes instead of sliding out. Shockercito off the ropes, armdrag attempt reversed into a crucifix by Damian, and he kills the poor guy with a face first crucifix powerbomb. Damian says that's it, and it may be. Shockercito does roll out, and I guess Bam Bam dropkicked Damian while we were looking the other way. Mini Damian off the ropes, spinning headscissors ends Damian out this time. Bam Bam tracks him with his eyes, and flies out - double jump headscissors to the floor! Bam Bam immediately picks Mini Damian back up and holds him while yelling to Fantasy, who's now on the apron - springboard tornillo! That was a tight spin. Shockercito and Halloween, Halloween trying to block a rana but getting headscissored over the top rope. Bam Bam in and running again - Fosbury flop sorta tornillo, as he had to work to just get over the top rope. Minimal contact, could've been worse. Aguila back into take care of Shockercito, but Shockercito gets him with a settle headscissors. Aguila out, Shockercito to the apron, Asai Moonsault! Bam Bam and Mini Halloween back in Bam Bam misses a clothesline, Halloween kicks him, slaps him in the back, and says this is it. Bodyscissors powerbomb! One two NO! Crowd behind Bam Bam. Halloween misses a clothesline, Bam Bam gets a waistlock, and Halloween mule kicks it. Everyone saw it - there was an "awwww" reaction. It takes a but for the refs to pull Halloween from covering Bam Bam, but it's over.

Replays. Bam Bam gets to do the promo - he wants a hair match with either Halloween or Damian. Well, so does everyone.

Match 2: Atlantis (c), Olimpico, Sangre Azteca vs Alex Koslov, Heavy Metal (c), Volador Jr.
Arena Coliseo, 07/01/07

  1. rudos
  2. tecnicos
  3. tecnicos

Winner: Tecnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:48
Approx Rating: It was good in parts, and other parts could've been better. They were working here, it just didn't come off as well as they might have hoped.
Other Match Notes: Entrances, but with the voice over announcers and dubbed over generic music. Volador cuts a generic promo. Generic overdubbed music for the rudos too. Evil Monkey is with Atlantis. Azteca does the promo for his side.

1: Sangre and Alex start on the mat, with the rudos breaking it up every time Alex gets something. They actually keep the situation being defused long enough for Alex to dropkick Sangre out and get onto the next one. Olimpico and Heavy Metal, and Olimpico claiming to be fouled on a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. I never understood the physics on that one. Anyway, Atlantis tries to start the beatdown from there, but Heavy Metal turns around a Volador backdrop and boots all the rudos as they come charging. Volador hits a springboard plancha, Metal and Alex splash the pile, and Volador - runs right into Atlántida. Well, that was nice for the 10 seconds it lasted. Heavy has a great "What the heck? We were winning!" expression, though it'd be better if he helped break up the stuff rather than stand there while Olimpico approaches and Alex gets grabbed. Sangre's crucifix powerbomb is not close to the one from the minis match, but then I don't think Alex wanted to die. That's fair. Olimpico sets up Heavy Metal for a Evil Monkey splash too.

Atlantis gets kisses from front row women, but what they really want is Alex. Soon after, Alex just happens to be thrown in their laps repeatedly.

2: Beatdown. Alex and Heavy Metal are rammed into each other. Metal ends up out, and Alex is booted out soon after. Did Volador's mask get ripped? Here's no in a hurry to get back in, so Metal comes in and is thrown around by the hair for a while. Volador in, but Atlantis kicks the bottom rope to crotch him as he climbs in. Atlantis is very proud of that one. Volador draws from the crowd, but still cakes corner clotheslines. Volador's bumping for them way before they get hit, it's distracting. Koslov back in again? No, Metal wants next shot. Metal rolls under a double clothesline, and Alex and Volador come in with - well, Volador did a dropkick on Sangre that sorta hit, and I think Alex was going for a headscissors or a silla and Olimpico must've been thinking dropkick, because they just sorta collided. Volador's tope con giro to the floor looks good, as does Alex's springboard plancha. Metal cleans up things with Atlantis the family way, and that's even.

El Arte de Catch: El Pulpo. Blue Demon invented this one, we're told. AHH! This is the name for the half turned sharpshooter/armbar thing everyone does. Wow, I wish I knew that likes six years ago.

3: Atlantis and Volador compete for crowd chants. Volador running the ropes gets us no where, so they start again and Volador ends up hitting a midlevel thrust kick. They don't seem to be on the same page a couple of times, so Volador just points to the crowd to distract him for a enziguri. Sangre in, Volador ducks his clothesline but gets kicked by Olimpico on the outside. Volador knocks Olimpico off the apron when we're looking the wrong way, and he sends Sangre out with a spinning headscissors. Dive fake, but not much of a reaction. Atlantis and Alex. Alex off the ropes, over, under, rolling over, waved by, and back with a twisting headscissors, Atlantis out, Olimpico in. Alex takes a look at him. Ah, it's a pose off. For once, Olimpico wants no part of this, and Alex takes a single leg. Olimpico off the ropes, but Alex gives him the stop sign. Time to blow a kiss - no, Sangre breaks that up with a kick. Sangre stomps while Olimpico heads up to - pose. So does Sangre. This seems unwise. Alex "break dances" up to his feet, gets in his own flipping run for no reason, and then armdrags both guys. Twisting headscissors ends Olimpico out, backbreaker and superkick for Sangre. Metal tagged into face Atlantis. Metal gets the crow chanting, but Atlantis knocks him over with a knee. Whip, Atlantis drops down, Metal drops an elbow. Metal shoves him in the corner, whip, reversed, Atlantis walks into an elbow, Metal runs out with a clothesline. Cover - does anyone count? Not that we can see it, but it's apparently a two count. Backbreaker's looked better, and Atlantis rolls out. Metal TOPE. Sangre misses a dropkick on Alex, and Alex pauses him with a shoulderblock. Olimpico charges with a clothesline, but Alex catches that and turns it into the Red Scare. Meanwhile, Volador gets the up and over sunset flip on Sangre, and that's it.

Replays. Alex asks to hear the girls scream. Fair enough. He blows a kiss, since he didn't get in during the match.

That's it.
