Match 1: Damian 666 (c), Halloween, Mr. Aguila vs Maximo, Sagrado (c), Texano Jr.
Arena Coliseo, 04/15/07

  1. Perros
  2. Tecnicos
  3. Perros

Winner: Perros (2-1)
Match Time: 7:31
Approx Rating: Comedy match.
Other Match Notes: Tecnicos have their Mexican Trios belts. (SUBTLE!) Wait, no, Sagrado does not - did he lose it? He does the pre-match promo. His mask looks great today - lots of detail. Aguila and Damian cut the same promo as last week, except both say Minimo (because it's witty) and Aguila is wearing a baseball cap instead of a visor. Opening bell rings 12:30 into the show.

1: Crowd is loud. Texano and Damian start with chain wrestling, till Texano forces Damian into a corner for a choke, and Halloween rushes the ring to attack from behind. Cue beatdown. Texano and Sagrado's great matches - it's faux pleated black, I think. Whisper in the Wind, CHECK. Spear, CHECK. Gonna cover? Aguila will if no one else will, though it's an odd cover. Sagrado gets held up for a face first powerbomb, Aguila adds the bulldog and Damian adds his knees. That was rather easy.

2: Tecnicos are randomly back in control as we return from break. That's some crappy editing. The others set up the Perros for Maximo's antics. Halloween and Damian tease walking out, CHECK! Somehow, we end up with all six men in the ring. The Perros try chopping, but end up getting clotheslined. The tecnicos try clotheslines again, but the Perros put up the stop sign so they can - uh, do push ups. Perros get beat up for being dumb. TRIPLE DIVE! Texano with a slingshot tope con giro, Maximo with a thru the ropes tope, and Sagrado with a no hands tope con giro which just barely makes it over the top rope and yet still skies over Aguila. Aguila's the first up and trying to get to the ropes, but he gets grabbed, and someone grabs that guy, and so on until Maximo's the only one left. Maximo decides the best way to beat the count is to crawl over the top of these men into the ring. He does get in, everyone else gets counted out, and the tecnicos take the fall. Maximo's the most over of this trio, which makes sense since they're all just setting up his antics.

3: Usual Damian/Maximo wackiness to start, but Halloween gets annoyed after Damian gets thrown out. He hits Maximo in the back, grabs him by the hair, turns him around, and gives him a deep kiss! Crowd loses their mind. Maximo may have passed out. Texano and Sagrado are appaled. Maximo rallies to armdrags out Halloween, tease a dive, and pretend like nothing happened. Texano and Aguila - Texano takes a backdrop to the floor, and Aguila goes thru him with a tope con giro. Maximo and Damian gain - no Sagrado? Sagrado clipped out? - and Maximo sends Damian out with a jumping butt bump. His apron dive try is stopped by an Aguila trip. Sagrado in now, and handing it to Halloween with a tilt-a-whirl backbreakers, but as the ref checks on Halloween, Sagrado turns to cut off Damian as he comes in, and gets a low blow foul. Halloween covers, and that's it.

Perro celebrate with Magadan and talk about a title match, I suppose.

Match 2: Atlantis (c), Black Warrior, Ultimo Guerrero vs Lizmark Jr., Mistico (c), Rey Bucanero
Arena Coliseo, 04/15/07

  1. rudos
  2. tecnicos
  3. tecnicos

Winner: Tecnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:39
Approx Rating: Was going along good, but needed a better end.
Other Match Notes: Rey has a cover of We Will Rock You now - he still wants the mask/hair match with Ultimo, he explains in the interview. Mistico has small children jumping him. They make a deal of showing Mistico and Lizmark shake hands. Rudos rush the tecnicos as soon as they all get out. Warrior ALSO wants that hair/mask match, or both his titles. It's good to have goals.

1: beatdown. Atlantis and Ultimo are wearing their great matching dark blue outfits. Rey takes corner charges - Ultimo's having a contest with himself about how long he can hold the headstand before the sit. Crowd is into it as Mistico is beat. Ultimo press slams him into an gutbuster on both Atlantis and Warrior's knees. Mistico's held over Ultimo's knees to take the Warrior middle rope legdrop - and they get the clean pin.

2: Warrior steals the ring girl's sign and breaks it over Mistico's head! That was a cool visual, but Warrior did in the aisle, and pieces shattered and flew into the crowd. Is there a guy in a giant cat suit with a Universo mask in the rowdy tecnico section? Warrior mocks the Mistico chant. Atlantis and Ultimo appear to let Lizmark roam the ring free before decided they ought to go back to beating people up. Corner charges for him. Lizmark drops to his seat to take the corner sit, but we already did that spot. Mistico in - this will go bad. They probably shouldn't be talking to him this much. Corner whip, Ultimo follow up splash misses, Atlantis and Warrior kicked away, handspring over a double clothesline, duck another, spinning headscissors to send Ultimo out, and a top rope plancha to follow him! Rey in, getting the best of 1 on 2 on Atlantis and Warrior, mostly because Lizmark is spectating for some reason. Warrior decides he might as well feed himself to Lizmark if Lizmark is just going to stand there, and that there is the fall. Rey goes after Atlantis' mask, which isn't nice of him. Mistico grabs Warrior's boot, notices something loose, and yanks it off - is a lift? the sole? Mistico fools around with it to annoy Warrior. Meanwhile, Rey's gotten Atlantis' mask off for a second, but Atlantis puts it back on. Back the other way, Mistico spanks Warrior with the lift of his own shoe until the refs talk Mistico out of it.

3: Warrior and Rey start off. Why does Rey wrestle while wearing his jean jacket? That doesn't seem to be wise. Rey gets by Warrior, and then take s out his old teammates with a double springboard back elbow, and follows them out to the floor for more. Mistico gets in versus Atlantis, which is good because the crowd was chanting for him while Rey was still in. Mistico sends out Atlantis with a spinning headscissors, but gets surprised by Ultimo. Ultimo starts to start his own chant, but it doesn't go well. There may be one section for Ultimo, but he's out cheered. And they just start chanting anti Ultimo, so he takes it out with a mighty chop on Mistico. Normal Mistico come back follows, though it's brief before Warrior comes in for his staredown with Mistico. Warrior sneaks in a headbutt and chops Mistico back, but Mistico stands up and does the Warrior hip thrusts. Warrior is not amused and kicks him down. Corner whip, Mistico moves, and Warrior hits corner. Warrior charges again, and flies along way on a Mistico drop toe hold. 619, check. Mistico duck a clothesline, and escapes a fireman's carry with an armdrags. Wristlock, kick to the side, running up the corner spinning armdrags. Warrior out, is Mistico going to follow - yes, slingshot tornillo. Lizmark charges in, but the Guerreros get him with a drop toe hold into the corner. Rey comes in, and he manages to duck a clothesline and turn a boost into a dropkick on Atlantis. Ultimo charges Lizmark, who's just lazing about in the corner, and of course Ultimo ends up taking the knee bump to the floor. Rey runs for a dive (though Lizmark almost gets in his way) - very shot tope con giro on Ultimo, but he makes it. Tope by Lizmark on Atlantis, and everyone's done. Mistico and Warrior take a moment before getting back in, and it looks like Mistico is limping a bit. He's hurt his right leg somehow. We watch Ultimo hold Rey in a leg hold on the floor for a bit, and cut back in the ring where Mistico's getting a bodyscissors small package on Warrior - one two NO. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a clip there. La Majistral, no Warrior escapes, gets one of his own, one two NO. Crowd has quieted down. Lizmark and Atlantis are facing off on the outside. Mistico off the ropes, springboard - well, nothing, as Mistico low blow punches him as he comes off the ropes. Crowd cheers for Mistico winning, and then is less happy when Warrior celebrates his loss.

Warrior demands a shot at the tag team titles. Mistico tells him to bring it. Jesus interviews him after the match and is asking questions about mask/hair instead, but they get around to talking about the tag team title match, though Warrior evades the question about who his tag partner would be. Hmmm.

That's it. Total match time 17:10.
