Cadenatres video feed

If you (still) have real player installed, check http://www.cadenatres.com.mx/videos/pro_n/transmision.php; I don’t know how I missed it before, but Victor found the streaming link.

Keith said this show should be on at 4pm on Saturday. I’m not sure if I’ll be around for that, but if you watch it, let me know (and see if you can capture a copy.)

Hopefully we don’t kill the speed on that link with a billion people checking it at once.

  1. C3 must’ve updated their programming grid minutes ago.

It shows CMLL on both Saturday and Sunday at 4pm but for two hours.

Silly me. I thought that other show, “Los Hombres de Paco” was CMLL. Bad joke.! Sorry.

  2. Can’t seem to get the feed anymore, maybe there’s a time limit? I think it’s around on other stream sites if you look hard enough, anyway, the site lists the show on both Sat and Sun at 4pm central time. Same show I presume.

  3. I tried getting the feed and never could. My guess is the network is still working on the feed. Maybe the feed you saw was actually a promo and you thought it was live programming.

  4. Nah, it was live programming with a time stamp on it. Perhaps they only have the rights to certain shows?

  5. I bet there’s a program on the channel’s page to enable viewing only on the programs they have the right to show. But if you grab the .rm address, as wwitv and coolstreaming have done, you can just watch it any time.

  6. You’re right Cubs, C3 would likely not have internet rights to the shows they acquire from other countries. But CMLL is most likely an in-house production, so it should be on.

  7. I’m gonna investigate this as well but I just got home and have to get settled in.

I just wanted to ask cubs if he really thinks there will be a billion people trying to access the site if a link is out there? Barely 8 people are regular posters here – on the best Lucha Libre site on the net.:)

  8. Transmitting on 5,000,000 watts, XHRAE is the most powerful station in Mexico City. If their transmitter is high, and they have a good engineer, that can cover Toluca, Hidalgo, and maybe more.

Do you guys think this Cad 3 deal is overexposure for CMLL? I always wondered what it would be like if CMLL did a split crew like WWE(Smackdown/RAW). You could have the ArMex crew and Coliseo crew for one year or until the gimmick wears thin. This could elevate mid-carders who we’d like to see pushed.

  9. Canal 28’s videos looked pretty bad, so I guess 5 million watts is just ballooney talk, or maybe they got some boost investment. Cadena 3 means that they’re the third network, Televisa being Cadena 1. So I guess they beat MM in that.

That means that they would eventually air nationally, at the moment it’s not on my cable and I checked the link with the alleged feed when the show was taking place and found nothing, therefore I didn’t post the link.

  10. It’s better for CMLL to overexposure than doing nothing. If they don’t use every slot, someone else would do. They know it’s worthless to go against AAA but they surely want to go head to head to the Todo x Todo airing, which goes on Cable.

  11. It’s not really overexposure if it’s all on tiny channels. Few. at least in our circle, knew of CAN52 or CadenaTres until they started airing lucha and most still do not or can not get it. Fox Sports might have had a higher profile, but it’s far from a basic channel on both sides of the Rio Grande.

If this was 3-4 hours being added on Televisa, or a similar size net, it’d definitely be over exposure and maybe Televisa would be more ruffled about it. But given the networks they’re on and the lack of publicity for these shows, the only people who are seeking them out are hardcores looking for more.

The situation is not quite WWE 24/7, but it’s close – there’s danger of burning out the casual fan if they were watching it all the time, but the people paying for it aren’t casual fans. People who are turning into the satellite shows aren’t casual fans.

(You could almost spin that to ‘since it’s just the hardcores watching, we don’t need to explain what’s going on because they surely know, so we’re giving them stuff they can’t possibly know’ but I wouldn’t go that far for a number of reasons.)

  12. Todo X Todo on cable? What are they going on? Unicable? I think it was said that Todo X Todo is working with Televisa. Unicable would be Televisa’s strongest cable network for this product.

Worthless to go against AAA? I’d love to see CMLL vs. AAA.

Really each channel at Televisa and Azteca is rated as a network. So Cad 3 is really far behind for now.

  13. Even though 8 people may post comments, there are many more like myself, the “troll” who prefer to “lurk” daily and refrain from making dumb, embarassing, and uninformed comments on what is indeed the best lucha site on the web.

  14. FWIW, I check this site out almost every day, but only comment once in a blue moon.
Best Lucha Site on the Internets indeed Cubs!!!
